Eechi-go Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 (edited) .: Keigaku [Ravenous Defense]:. Type: Taijutsu [style-less][Response Phase] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 1.25x [Where X equals the DP of the incoming technique.] Damage: N/A Effects: Useable three times per battle. User must forfeit their Main Phrase if this jutsu is successful. The user may ignore all damage and effects of an incoming attack. If the incoming technique is a ninjutsu or genjutsu, and this technique is successful, Samehada gains 10% of the total DP back as chakra. This technique has a 5% chance to fail. Description: Using the impressive size of the Samehada to their advantage, the user will draw the sword into a sideways defensive stance. Due to the massive size of the blade, it’s very easier for the wielder to become completely hidden behind the width of the bandaged shark skin. In this stance, the wielder is completely protected against any oncoming attacks. Taijutsu will simply bounce off the blade or collide with it, while Ninjutsu and Genjutsu directed at the foe will be absorbed straight into the mighty blade. Thanks to the natural draining properties of the legendary weapon, the Ninjutsu and Genjutsu caught by the user will be partially stored inside Samehada for later use. Points: 4 Requirements: Samehada .:Donkigaishou [blunt Trauma]:. Type: Taijutsu [style-less] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 103 Damage: 5 Effects: Opponent is under the effects of ‘Stunned’ and ‘Vulnerable’ for 1 turn. Description: A rather simple technique that is frequently overlooked as a viable offensive option in combat. Using the hilt of their sword, the ninja will jerk their hands backwards, before thrusting the stiff shaft directly at the skull of the opponent. Many people do not expect to be hit with the opposite end of their opponent’s blade, so the experience is rather humbling, sending a small wave of pain through to their brain, while at the same time, causing them to blank out momentarily, leaving themselves wide open for the ninja to come at them with their blade next. Points: 4 Requirements: A weapon with a hilt. .:Gatorin Chisame [One-Thousand Gatling Sharks]:. Type: Taijutsu [style-less][Personal] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 100 Damage: 30 Effects: Opponent is under the effects of ‘Clobbered’ for 2 turns. Description: A rather simplistic attack in nature, to be blunt, though it’s after-effects are nothing to scoff at. Kajiru will charge the opponent, and with all the quickness he can muster between his limbs, begin shooting off as many punches as he can possibly throw in the shortest amount of time he can. The strength of his skin thanks to the power of his bloodline, combined with the sheer force of each individual hit will send the foe flying several yards in the opposite direction, leaving them a battered, clobbered mess. Points: 4 .:Gigigigigigi!:. Type: Taijutsu [style-less] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 150 Damage: N/A Effects: Opponent is under the effects of ‘Petrified’ for 3 turns. Description: There are few things in this world that are more terrifying than an enraged sharksword. The wielder of Samehada will pull back the bandages that adorn the blade, before thrusting it forward towards the opponent violently. The blade never hits the foe, but rather, the mouth of Samehada slides up to the surface, before opening its massive, toothy maw. With a voice amplified by the chakra dripping from its mouth, the sword will unleash its ear-splitting battle cry. There are few men and women in existence, both past and present, that WOULDN’T shit a brick at the sight of this. Points: 5 Requirements: Samehada ((Mooooostly simple. )) Edited September 23, 2011 by Eechi-go
Hardcore Skittlez Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 These are fine. I kind of dislike responsive taijutsu stopping genjutsu- but, it's samehada, so.... damn you, samehada. GATTLIN' SHARKS
almondsAndRain Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Moved to dead as Petrified is no longer a status effect.
