Description:

Clad in a white silken kimono adorned with golden flames, with a heko-obi of crimson and gold that rests around the lanky Hyoro's waist. Hyoro generaly rests his right elbow inside the corresponding sleeve, using the kimono as a sling of sorts. Underneath the kimono Hyoro prefers a deep-red, sleeveless bodysuit that clings in accordince to the gaunt boy's sparse muscles. Hyoro had his hitai-ate leaf "headband" custom fit onto his shoulder, the band it self is only visible when he pulls his arm out of the sling. With skin more on the ivory-pale side, and hair stark-white with a slight sky blue tinge that spikes down to cover the whole left side of his face making his already angular features even more so distinct; being high cheek bones that sport a poor excuse for cheeks, and thin lips that compliment a small uncleft chin.

~History~

Background:

It was a fine autumn afternoon, nestled in a nest of blankets and pillows a new white eyed warrior joined the ranks of the Hyuuga. Born into a family of five which included both mother and father, an elder brother, and two older sisters, Hyuuga Hyoro took his first breathes inside the the Konoha hospital. Ever the youngest child, Hyoro was often the target of envious glares from his older siblings, all but one that is. Sadly enough the only person whom never paid the infant heed was his older brother Zonzai, the same person Hyoro would soon idolize during his childhood.

Zonzai was the eldest of siblings, ever a cold and caculating outsider whom used his cynical wit to belittle others. Zonzai's story was never one of any pain or hardship, nothing at all to explain his cold and cut to the chase methods, but as it may seem life just isn't the simple. Trained under the clan head in the warrior methods, the only passion Zonzai found in his life was the chaos of battle. With the single ambition of perfecting his body and becoming the most effective killing machine possible. Zonzai took this goal and implemented it into all aspects of his life at the meager age of twelve; he doesn't use any mind altering substances, he's ruled off sechs as a weakness, and he abides both a strict diet and training schedule. Several years later, to Zonzai's disdain, the clan head arranged the marriage of Zonzai and a Hyuuga bride. The wedding was a glorious one, Hyoro served as the ring bearer at the tender age of six years old. Sadly enough, through out all the festivities all Zonzai did was bicker about how the wedding was a pointless one and how it was interrupting his training schedule.

At the tender age of six Hyoro's idolization of his older brother Zonzai manifested when he watched his brother fend off three other Hyuuga in a sparing match. Soon afterwards Hyoro approached his older brother with the intention of training under him only to be swiftly dismissed with an annoyed wave of the elder brother's hand. So with the failure of straightforwardness Hyoro opted for a more covert method. During his free time, Hyoro tailed Zonzai wherever he went. Zonzai of course knew and felt the obligation to make the task as hard on young Hyoro as possible. It was a healthy practice for both of them, for Hyoro he learned basic tracking skills through the ever rough process of trial and error, and Zonzai learned how to observe those attempting to observe him which is quite helpful indeed. Hyoro watch Zonzai train, studying his every move like a scientist would his finest specimen. When Zonzai rested Hyoro mimicked what he'd saw his brother do, to the best of his ability. This cycle would continue for months, until one fateful day Hyoro witnessed Zonzai summon a man sized canary of a magnificent red orange.

Hyoro rushed from his hiding place and demanded Zonzai teach him how to do such a feat. Intially Zonzai refused his younger brothers demand, until Hyoro challenged his brother. Amused by his little brother's foolish challenge, Zonzai took him up on the offer. Mimicing the stance he'd seen Zonzai settle into time and time again, Hyoro charged toward Zonzai. Unfortunately for Hyoro the fight was over before it began, Zonzai roundhouse kicked his younger sibling in the right ear he causing him to fall several feet to his side. Before the boy could even fall to the ground unconscious, Zonzai appeared before him and thrusted a pair of chakra charged fingers into the young Hyuuga's neck. With that Hyoro faded away into the cold dark confines of unconsciousness, irrepairable damage done to his voice box that would hinder his ability to speak. Hyoro woke a day later in his bed, surrounded by both his parents, sisters, and the clan head. With that his idol died, Zonzai was no more than an arch nemesis to surpass.

Several weeks after the life altering scuffle with Zonzai, Hyoro was taken to Konoha's Ninja Cadet Academy where he would learn the basics of being a ninja. As fate would have it, Hyoro met a boy his age whom quirked his interest. Though one may see friendship between two of different clans as normal, it was a completely new concept to Hyoro for he'd lived his whole life behind the safe walls of the Hyuuga compound. Hyoro was quick to strike up a friendship with the boy, Yoshi by name. The two enjoyed each others company throughout all their classes, having completely different interests made the friendship chaotic. Arguments over which ninja art was the most effective would often break out, although all arguments were fickle in nature. The friendship bloomed into a non-genetic brothership during the their years of training at the academy. Hyoro even convinced his parents to turn Zonzai's vacant room into a room for Yoshi, so whenever the cadet spent the night at the young Hyuuga's home he'd have his own place to sleep. The two's bond was not only deeper than blood as they found in when they were to spar with another pair of cadets for a recreational graduation exercise, the two's fighting styles perfectly compensated for each other's weaknesses.

~Persona~

Personality:

"Quiet and analytical" the two words one of Hyoro's previous instructors used to sum the boy's attitude up in a report for the child's file. Sadly enough the woman was quite right, during his tenure in the academy Hyoro rarely spoke to anyone but Yoshi. Though the young Hyuuga may seem some what shy or submissive, it's hardly the case. No Hyoro prefers to live his life in peaceful silence, when threatened the boy assesses the situation and executes whatever might be the best option in his opinion. Needless to say there have been fights, though it rarely happens there is always someone that can evoke a rage within Hyoro.

Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Substitute Technique)

Type: Ninjutsu

Description: A lifesaver, and a must-have technique. With this technique, the user is able to swap their body with a nearby object, usually a log, which will take the full force of any incoming blows for them, while they retreat to safe ground or search for an opening. You can only use this 3 times per battle.

Damage: None

Effects:Evade the next attack aimed at you. You are unable to attack the opponent the turn you use this. You can only use this 3 times per battle. This technique cannot be used to dodge Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Genjutsu Techniques.

Genin Jutsus:

Kaisen Hikigane (Itch Trigger Technique)

Type: Taijutsu

Rank: Gennin

Cost: X - 5 Stamina (X being the cost of the incoming attack)

Effect: Replaces Response Phase dodge roll. Damage that would be dealt to the user from the incoming attack is reduced by 25%. This cannot be used in response to Genjutsu. User gains the status of "Ready" until the end of their next turn. If the Byakugan is open, then this technique reduces the damage by 50%.

Requirements: Hyuuga Clan Specific; Used during the Response Phase. Cannot be used against Genjutsu.

Description: One of the well-known warrior reflexes of the Hyuuga clan, this is one of their signature techniques. Upon seeing an incoming attack, the user dodges just enough of it to leave a small wound. While it is painful, this leaves them with the time to begin the counter-assault against the hostile.

Ready Status

Effect: User's next action, if an attack, has a +15% chance to hit and a d6 is rolled. If any odd number turns up, then the attack does 1.5 times its normal damage. This also allows for specified techniques. Lasts until the next action is finished.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)

Type: Ninjutsu

Rank: Gennin

Cost: x Chakra (depends on summon level, see summoning rules)

Damage: N/A

Effect: Allows you to summon one animal. (See Summoning rules for more info). Requires the skill "Contract Manager" to preform.

Description: Having signed a contract in blood, any ninja with this Ninjutsu technique can summon a beast, or beasts, from another plane of existence to use in battle. They must use their own blood as a "sacrifice" to summon them, after performing the hand seals corresponding with their animal and marking their point of summoning on the ground with both hands. Animals range from the famous Japanese Triad of the Toad, Snake, and Snail/Slug, to dogs, spiders, turtles, monkeys, and many more.

There are actually two versions of this jacket, one carries the emblem of the Hyuuga clan and the other a bright green cross. The jacket bearing the clan emblem is for warrior cadets and the jacket with the green cross is for medical cadets. Its sleeves extend a few inches past the elbow, but no further. And the wide collar buttons from the right to the left. Down the front runs the zipper. In spite of the simple design, it is quite effective at resisting the elements and guarding against impact.

Description: A black leather glove that is equal parts leather and iron plates. It is specially constructed to not boost physical damage, but to instead increase the effectiveness of the Gentle Fist fighting style. Therefore, at every fingertip of the glove, there are small holes to allow chakra to flow through easily. This is was created for the sole use of warrior cadets to hone their chakra control and forget that physical damage is not to be relied upon. The black iron plates are placed strategically to still allow the hand to flex as normal and still offer minor protection.

Meh, it just means that you will take less skills to begin with... looking at what you have, you can drop the +10 Unsavory Chakra... leaving you 7 skill points in the hole, in which case you can then drop Handou Ketsnuonana, leaving you 5 in the hole... drop the mastery a couple, and maybe take another hindering trait like... merciful or something.

And this is the part people begin to think I'm being difficult >__<

I asked Jake about the +22 skill points and neither him nor I remeber a rule stating I can't have that many skill points. So his suggestion to me was simply ask you why I cannot have that many skill points. So I ask you this, could you please link me to the post stating members cannot start off with +22 skill points. I am not trying to be difficult but I'd much rather find see the rule for myself than believe what may not be true (not saying your a liar but possibly misinformed)

The ruling is that you can have 6 hindering skills. However, you need a damn good reason as to why the hell you have so many points. Personally, I wanted to include separate ranks of hindering traits as separate traits.

Now, onto off topic hindering things...

Perhaps we should make it so that people have to use the hindering traits in their personality and background. It would limit just random Hindering taking, to an extent I suppose.

As for the inclusion of the Byakugan;

Yes, as I have stated time and time again, the Byakugan does not obey the '5 levels per a rank' rule. Actually, to be more insightful, it never has in the first place.

As for the actual character in question;

I have to vehemently disagree with your character stats. Due to the fact you possess the Byakugan, it doesn't make much sense to be able to use Genjutsu. If you only see through it all, I'd imagine it'd be difficult to use properly. So, I recommend dropping your points in Genjutsu. Further, I'd replace 'Feeble Minded' with 'Sealed Genjutsu'

I should probably make Sealed Genjutsu a clan prerequisite sooner or later...

Again, since you possess the Byakugan, I recommend you drop all Concentration whatsoever. Later on, you'll be more of less immune to it, and it's not a very popular form of attack as is. As for where these extra points should go is for you to decide.

Good lookin' when I edited Ironbound (due to the fact the final rank can only be taught by the clan head) I only editted the stats within the effect (quite lazy yes I know)

Please add your running tab to the bottom of your sheet. Essentially, a header that says 'Clan Debt' followed by the amount currently owed. Which, of course, is the cost of the Hyuuga equipment minus your starting cash.
