-Physical Description: (Body build, skin tone, any scars, etc.) Garen wears what a normal typical Jounin wears from the Hidden Village of Iwagakure. Deep red crimson colours mixed with dark blacks make up the majority of his garb. Garen has a deep Auburn tinge to his hair, as he wears in slicked back and pushed to one side. His sideburns connect with his dark brown facial hair that runs down his face into a tidy beard. His eyes are deep and narrowed but they almost glow with a sparkle as if the sun is always catching the deep azure blue. Part of his physical training is using the natural environment of Iwagakure which is high in the mountains. The air is thin and the sun is much harsher in higher elevations then down at ground level which makes Garen's skin a deep bronze colour. His body is highly toned and looks as each muscle has been etched with precision out of stone.

Personality: Garen is somewhat of a lazy, down to earth kind of guy. He prefers events to unfold before him before he makes any rash choices. He is level headed and hardly ever raises his voice unless its to protect something he holds most dear. Garen is fiercely loyal to his family and friends, he puts the value of his comrades lives and feelings before his own and even his country. Usually last to enter a fight unless circumstances are not favorable. He lives by a very simple ideal, common sense always prevails.


 


Garen is soft spoken and gentle but has abilities that make him highly skilled and valued in combat although he avoids confrontation if all possible. Garen treats his body like a temple, he works out to make sure he is in top beach body condition. He does not care to hone his skills or body for combat, he does it for another reason and one reason only. Girls.


 


The only real weakness Garen has is his love for cigarettes, he is hardly ever seen without one dangling from his mouth. Even during the midst of combat its not uncommon for him to spark up a smoke and continue to fight on.

Rain slowly rolled down the open window as a slight breeze slowly moved the curtain side to side. A pair of bright blue eyes stared out, a vacant expression followed by long shallow breaths. Mountains jetted up into the darkened sky as clouds rolled around the peaks. A young boy sighed as he continued to stare at the sky. He was inherently lazy so he did not want to move from his comfortable position but a loud annoying voice kept pestering him to come.

 

I'm not a dog

 

His voice mumbled inside his head but was quickly over taken by the shrill voice of a women. To Garen, there was nothing worse then a women yelling especially when it was directed at him. The rain picked up.

 

What a shitty day

 

His mother had made him a large breakfast, he guessed he would need his strength today. If Garen passed his finally testing today it would make him a real shinobi, an actually Gennin. Garen grudgingly forced all the food down as his mother pushed him out of the house an wished him luck. She gave a him a kiss on the forehead and shooed him from the doorway by the shoulders.

 

Later that day he slowly pushed the large oak door to his house open. Garen prayed that no one was home, he did not want the bother to explain what had happened in the day. He had a lackluster attitude and was lazy when it came to his studies but was naturally gifted, he didn't have to try to be good he just was. His potential was endless but he was just happy enough to do what was expected and not make anymore effort to do more then what was expected. Garen still finished top of his class with no real effort which did not make him the most popular, not that he cared.

 

Not long after being assigned to a team with a Jounin leader and two other young members from his Gennin graduating class was he appointed the rank of Chuunin. He took the exams within a couple of years of being a Gennin and finished again at the top. It was not hard for him, everything came naturally to him. Everything came easy to him, some of his fellow shinobi resented him for his lack of application but time after time he proved himself as a gifted shinobi.

 

By 18 he was called up during a large presentation to the Village by the Tsuchikage‏. He had heard rumors he was going to get another Promotion, this time to Jounin. 

 

What a hassle

 

For once, the rumors were true. Garen was grateful, he did want his own team. Over the years his attitude has changed, he was still lazy but he started to become very loyal to his friends and to his country. He made powerful friendships and deep bonds and would defend those he loved until the end.

 

"Takashi Garen!" the Tsuchikage‏'s voiced boomed. Garen quickly pushed his feet together and yelled out his acknowledgement. He slowly went before the Tsuchikage‏ and bowed deep before him to accept his appointment to the rank of Jounin. Once back in the ranks of his peers Garen looked up into the bright blue sky and smiled, his eyes sparkling just as bright as the sun itself.

 

What a good day

 

 

Garen has perfected his ninjutsu skills over the years and has mastered several elements which only powerful shinobi can do. To his knowledge he is the only one in his village who uses his combination of jutsu. Garen uses Ash and Scorch style jutsu as well having mastered his ninjutsu of earth style. Garen follows the Path of the Shaman, he learns and follows everything ninjutsu. Despite his rock hard body and toned muscles he hates using his body for fighting, he is a mid range shinobi. Most of his friends scratch their heads when they realize how much time he spend training his body physically but they laugh when they realize its just to show off to women.

 

When not being a womanizer or in the gym Garen loves to train young shinobi. He has never had his own team but often gets asked to teach at the academy about chakra control and chakra manipulation since his expertise is highly sought after for his elemental control.

 

What flavour!

 

Garen said to himself as he exhaled a smoke. Every since he had learned to use Ash style Jutsu Garen felt the urge to always have a smoke dangling from his mouth. He knows it does not enhance his jutsu but for some reason it makes him feel stronger when he hears the paper slowly burning away from his cigarette. Garen started to smoke just after the Chuunin exams, he does not know why he started but ever since that day he is seldom seen without one.

 

Since Garen was quite soft spoken and never raised eyebrows about his behavior his name was not mentioned much with the village. His friends and fellow nin knew him well enough but he flew below the radar for most of his young shinobi life. That was until his home was invaded by the NCIA. Normally Garen did not go out of his way to fight, he actually avoided it. Not to be mistaken for cowardice but he always considered why fight unless there was something worth fighting for. Having one of his young friends murdered before his eyes was the reason he wanted to fight.

 

Crimson life slowly pumped out of the young man's neck, each heartbeat pushed more blood from his open throat. Unable to utter his last words but his eyes told Garen with clarity what his mouth couldn't. It was not like him to kill or even want to kill but watching the life leave a young boy not only broke his heart it broke his will to fight, to kill and so he did. It was here that he made a name for himself.

 

Garen flicked his cigarette into the air and began forming handseals. Before the lit smoke could hit the ground the entire area let him in flames. Several of the invading NCIA shinobi got the full brunt of his Scorch style jutsu, the flames licked up their bodies and before long they were smoldering piles of ash on the ground. The ones that fled thinking it was a normal fire style jutsu were wrong. Garen used his abilities to manipulate the flames and chased down the fleeing shinobi and they to met their fate. After the smoke had cleared the floor was littered with burnt bodies, the smell lingered in his nose but he lit two more cigarettes and placed a lit one in the young boy's lifeless mouth.

 

Farewell 

 

War, not long after the NCIA and the Kumo were driven from his beloved land another war kicked up. There never seemed to be an end to fighting, Garen hated fighting, but he was good at it, he was revered in it, his country that he loved so much needed him to fight, he would fight.

Description: The ground beneath the target is split open, raised around the victim in a ring of jagged and razor-sharp spires. The opening is quickly pulled closed, stabbing the victim with the stones and trapping them beneath the earth.

Description: In similar fashion with any other clone technique, Iwa Bunshin No Jutsu can make up to several clones made out of soil from the ground. Used to trick the opponent in a clever way. When the opponent hits one of these clones, it turns back into soil but latches onto the opponent, thus hindering his/her movement.

Description: A personal Jutsu to Garen that has never been tried but the fundamentals to pull this jutsu off would be easy for a skilled shinobi such as him. The fire would slowly SPREAD starting in the lungs and working its way throughout the blood vessels and other vital parts of the body. Once the body has been thoroughly 'well done' Garen can extract every ounce of air and water from the body and leaving it a cooked crispy dehydrated burnt corpse.

Description: The user creates several flaming orbs that resemble small suns. These orbs rotate around the user and can be freely controlled to attack enemies. I'm counting your total at 39 SP with your rank bonuses.

And your remaining total should be 14.

You can't take Armor of Sand anymore unless you're from Suna or trained by a character who already has it. So you'll have to remove that one.

And as far as the history goes, you'll need to add what he was doing during the kumo NCIA stuff, mostly because he was probably decently high level at the time. He probably either fought with them or against them.
