Rhapsody
Night Guy | Yagai | 夜ガイ Rank: Sennin Type: Taijutsu [ Konoha | Lotus | Forbidden; Unacceptable ] Cost: 900 Stamina Damage: 1400 Effect: The Eighth Gate, Shimon, must be open, and may not have been open for more than 3 turns. Usable once per battle. The user of this technique may sacrifice up to 5x remaining turns of Shimon and increase their total Taijutsu and Accuracy by 50x%. The value of x may never be greater than 3. This bonus may break the 1.5x modifier rule for Taijutsu and Accuracy. For each Lotus charge spent when using this technique, increase the fail chance of Response Phase Techniques used against it by 10%. Description: Might Guy, known to the history books as a Legendary Master of the Eight Gates, developed a technique that maximizes the energy and power of the gates in order to create monumental destruction. Heralded by the countenance of a dragon formed of their own blood, the user of this technique charges and then kicks with such speed that space its self is distorted, making the attack immensely powerful and hard to dodge. The result is a devastating cataclysm that scars the earth and is powerful enough to level great cities. Jutsu Points: 25 700 for Damage, 200 for effects plus 5 Shimon Turns for every time you multiply your mods. Thoughts? I am thinking 5 is pretty high but the effect is also… good. Cellar Door
The 'x' variable has two different values in your effect. (One value based on the turns sacrificed and then another for the charges spent.) That could be confusing down the line.

Cellar Door
Once the Death Gate is open, all bets are pretty much off on game-balance, since you've got 20 turns of god-tier slaying in front of you before you die like a shooting star of burning, winly awesome. So spending 15 turns to multiply the effects of 2 stats by 3 isn't that unreasonable when it could just be a relentless 15 turns of beat-down. Honestly, if the opponent gets around this attack, rather than getting turned into a bloodstain, then it really heightens the likelihood that they'll survive the enemy opening death gate. The above is mostly just for other reviewers to look at and consider. I see no reason this can't be approved as it is. App.
Azure
Do all of these additions last for one turn, three turns (Tai duration limit) or the remainder of the battle? I assume you mean the remainder of the battle?
Rhapsody
Editted to add "end of turn."
cntrstrk14
As written... "The user of this technique may sacrifice up to 15 remaining turns of Shimon and multiply all of their Taijutsu and Accuracy Modifiers and Bonuses (from skills, stats, equipment, etc) by x/5, where x is the number of turns that have been sacrificed." 5 Turns = 1, meaning x = 1. Multiplying all your stats by 1 doesn't do anything. If you round up you start getting bonuses at 6 turns, but I don't think that is the intent? Maybe this formula... The user of this technique may sacrifice up to 5x remaining turns of Shimon and increase their total Taijutsu and Accuracy by 50x%. The value of x may never be greater than 3. This bonus may break the 1.5x modifier rule for Taijutsu and Accuracy.

Rhapsody
Posting here to get it moved back. I've edited in Tony's suggested wording as it accomplishes what I was getting at. I tried searching to see if anyone tried porting this while I was gone and didn't find anything but lmk if that's not the case.
Princess
You wrote: Quote For each Lotus charge spent when using this technique, increase the fail chance of Response Phase Techniques used against it by 10y%. Change it to: Quote For each Lotus charge spent when using this technique, increase the fail chance of Response Phase Techniques used against it by 10%. That Y value is never defined, but by saying 'For each lotus charge', you're already defining what the multiplier on the 10% is.
