Steel Stakes; First Trine

Item Slots Taken: 1 per 6 stakes.

Effect: Stakes can be placed across the field during the setup phase, up to six at once. No effects. Can be picked up in the setup phase, three per turn. +10 Defense if the user is wearing all three stakes.

Description: A pack of three stakes that come strapped together with a thick cloth, with a latch upon one side. Packaging is made to be easily worn on anywhere from the leg, to the vest. Each stake is 3/4 inches thick and 7 inches long, made of a hardened silver steel. Upon the top end of each stake is the Chinese kanji for a zodiac animal, carved within the steel and colored in a rich gold. The three zodiac symbols within this set are the Rat, Dragon and Monkey.

Can you pick these up after you set them onto the field? Or are they like kunai, just vanishing?
