cntrstrk14 Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Tenrai Ketsueki Fuuin (Divine Blood Seal) Type: Ninjutsu (Sealing; Forbidden: Unacceptable) Rank: Sennin Cost: 800 Chakra Damage: 50 bleeding damage; three turns. Effects: Any activated bloodline ability is deactivated. Any and all activated bloodline abilities owned by the target cannot be activated again for one week (IC) or one month (OOC), whichever comes first. After that, the inflicted user must roll a d13 every time they try and activate their bloodline ability. If they roll under or equal to the amount of real life months since the user was inflicted, the ability is activated. The months may only stack up to ten months, after that it is capped. If the roll is failed the target pays for the ability as if it was activated for that turn as well as takes 5% total HP damage from the seal. May only be removed by 'Tenrai Ketsueki Kaiin (Divine Blood Release)'. Usable once per battle. Description: After a series of seals, the user raises up the pointer and middle finger of their dominate hand. Rushing forward they will jab the user with both fingers in a violent manner, breaking the skin upon contact through a combination of brute force and chakra manipulation. The seal begins to appear within a few moments as a vivid green color, but after a minute or two it fades into a dull black. The seal itself appears as a small cross with two points with arced lines leading to one another surrounding it. When applied on the body it seals off the use of any activated bloodline ability the target has, keeping them from using it against the opponent. Whenever the opponent attempts to use a bloodline ability, the seal will glow the vivid green color again. Over time though, the seal slowly starts to fade and loose its effectiveness. Points: 12 Tenrai Ketsueki Kaiin (Divine Blood Release) Type: Ninjutsu (Sealing; Forbidden: Powerful) Rank: Sennin Cost: 300 Chakra Damage: 400 (unmodified) Effects: Removes the effects of Tenrai Ketsueki Fuuin (Divine Blood Seal). Description: After a series of seals, the user raises up the pointer and middle finger of their none dominant hand and places their two fingers on the two outward points of the seal. The target will feel a searing burning sensation followed by a sharp pain down their spine. Following this the seal fads away and many people pass out due to the pain. Points: 5 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Five Part Seal (Goguoufuuin) Type: Sealing (Unacceptable) Rank: Sennin Cost: 700 Chakra Effects: Opponent cannot use target stat. This lasts until the seal is released using Five Part Seal Release (Goguoukaiin). The stat is treated as if it was 0, though you do not pass out if it is stamina/ chakra. Cannot target HP. Only one stat may be sealed via this method at a time. Usable once per battle. Description: An elemental seal appears on each of the users fingers, one for each of the five elements (water, metal, earth, fire and wood). Upon contact with the target it disrupts their chakra flow, sealing it from further use; though this technique has been known to be used to seal other abilities. Points: 11 The final one is trying to make this ridiculous technique a LITTLE more balanced. (It is suppose to be broken)

Rei Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Tenrai Ketsueki Fuuin (Divine Blood Seal): Change rank to forbidden (Unacceptable). Once per battle. Five Part Seal (Goguoufuuin): Change rank to forbidden (Unacceptable). Once per battle. Only one stat may be sealed at a time. Naturally sealed Ninjutsu and Genjutsu are immune top this clause.
cntrstrk14 Posted February 19, 2008 Author Posted February 19, 2008 I kept them sealing for flavor reasons. The rules for forbidden jutsu apply to sealing though as well (except Sealing can only be Sennin level). Changed the rest.
Rei Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I kept them sealing for flavor reasons. The rules for forbidden jutsu apply to sealing though as well (except Sealing can only be Sennin level). Changed the rest. That's not what I meant. Change the rank, where you wrote Sennin, to forbidden not the Jutsu type.
cntrstrk14 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Posted February 20, 2008 So you want them available to Jounin?
Rei Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Put Sennin as a requirement. Will these appear on the main site or on your creations thread?
cntrstrk14 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Posted February 20, 2008 My creation thread (except five part seal), and there is no need to place forbidden on there as well. It is stated in the forbidden rules that it includes sealing jutsu within its rules. Only Jounin Rank shinobi may take Kinjutsu; however, for the most part, they will only be available to the Sennin Rank, or level 100 [This includes Juuin Jutsu (Curse Seals), Fuuinjutsu (Sealing Jutsu), and some Ninjutsu/Genjutsu/Taijutsu, and the occasional Hijutsu.
Kouta Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 (edited) Divine Blood Secrets of the Alchem Sisterhood: While most of you missed that joke, here we go! Only a few real questions at the moment...what about passive bloodlines? Or bloodlines that are like, insta use then shut off again? What about bloodlines without costs? You know, all those. Edited February 26, 2008 by Kouta
cntrstrk14 Posted February 26, 2008 Author Posted February 26, 2008 Active means anything that is not passive/ activated on the will of the user. (Does not necessarily need a cost). 'Triggered' bloodline abilities would be passive, as they are always active and are triggered by something outside of the user's control.
Eechi-go Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I don't really have any problems with the first two. For the last one, I feel like speed shouldn't be able to be choosen. For obvious reasons, for one, this ninja will always be attacked multiple times per battle, causing them to be mauled by every ninja that targets them. For two, how exactly can you seal a person's movement? Would that mean they could never move at all until the unsealing jutsu is used?
cntrstrk14 Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 Crippling a person's ability to move would be just as logical as crippling their taijutsu or evasion. Remember that speed is just the speed they can move in a battle. A person with 0 speed is still able to move at normal human speeds, its not like they are a cripple. As for the in battle effects, opponents get 3 turns to their one. At least they can still use techniques. Crippling stamina/chakra is potentially much worse. Evasion too, because if the person as high evasion as well it doesn't matter how many turns they get if they cannot be hit.
Warr Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Further still, there are jutsu that rise speed to a point that two-three turns are added to a person's stats, so yeah.
Eechi-go Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Taijutsu is just how well the ninja preforms hand to hand combat, it is not how strong they are. Anyway, you have a point, I just don't see how you can effectively 'seal' someone's ability to evade or move. I always figured that 'average' human speed was 20, in out statistical terms. But, I suppose it doesn't need to make sense since it's canon, eh?
