Idenshi No Nekomata.;. Gene of the Fork-tailed Cat

Little is known about the Furousha Clan's genetic mutation(As it is incorrectly called by many). Outwardly, it appears to give the gene-carrier a feline appearance. This includes razor-sharp claws in the place of finger-nails, fangs, tails, and feline ears. It has sometimes been seen to produce a layer of fur over the entirety of the Furousha's body.

The Gene of the Fork-Tailed Cat is rumored to have been originated by a splinter cell of the devious organization "Akatsuki" within the confines of a number of laboratories within the mountains of Yuki no Kuni. This Splinter cell, now no longer, was called "The Circle" by its inner most trustees, and produced several experiments on the human gene, going so far as to imbue it with the alleged chakra of the two-tailed bijuu. This, however, has never been confirmed, as the Furousha clan destroyed their creators after realizing that they had been toys to some inhumane experiment. Despite this lack of evidence, a recent trend has developed within the few clan members that remain. When pressed to a point of near-death, a chakra of varying color(Depending on the character) has been noted to emerge from the pores of the feline combatant. This chakra covers the entire Furousha's body and glows with a certain radiance. While in this state, it has appeared that the combatant's personality is withdrawn into the most primal of situations - It fights entirely to survive, and will not hesitate to attack anything that it judges as a threat.

The Will of the Cat God

Effect: Upon taking this skill, all of the taker's basic attacks[This only applies to basic attacks that are specified as CLAW attacks] are treated as if they were performed by medium weapons who's level starts at 1 and increases by 2 levels per 3 user levels. These weapons (Claws) May not be destroyed or rendered unusable, as they are a natural extension of the body. Despite these being considered "Medium weapons", they follow the following attack rules:

--At Gennin Rank, two attacks may be performed with these weapons per turn

--At Chuunin Rank, Three attacks may be performed with these weapons per turn

--At Jounin+ Rank, Four attacks may be performed with these weapons per turn

In addition to the above, the taker of this skill may not be rendered blind via means of natural darkness and may perform in the dark just as they would be able to in the day. The taker of this skill must roleplay as a feline-human hybrid, and these features will be expanded upon with later skills.

Cost: -2

Restriction: Must be taken at character creation.

Chakra of the Demon Cat

Effect:

Passive//Charge

Whenever the taker of this skill takes damage, 1/4 of the total damage dealt is pooled into a seperate stat located beneath the taker's three tank pools, called "Nekomata Chakra". Full damage is still dealt to the taker. (This means that if 100 damage is dealt to the taker, the skill-taker still takes 100 damage, but records a gain of 25 Nekomata Chakra). This chakra may not total more than the taker's three tank stats added together. Nekomata Chakra gained in this matter accumulates through every battle.

Active//Release

Whenever the taker of this skill would be dropped to below 0 HP, their three primary stats become struck out for the remainder of the battle. The taker returns to life with x Nekomata Chakra(X is the amount currently recorded). They may continue to fight, though only with genin-level taijutsu or basic attacks. Whenever damage is sustained or an attack is performed that would drain stamina (As, Chakra-based attacks are NOT allowed to be used in this state), that amount is instead reduced from Nekomata Chakra. Whenever the Chakra is reduced to 0, the user returns to their normal state, and may be slain or saved as if they had 0 HP. After this skill expires (Either with the Nekomata Chakra expires, or the battle ends), the taker must spend 1 Real-life day resting, otherwise, they enter combat with 1/4 all of their tank stats. This skill may not be used consecutively without at least a one real-life day rest being taken in between uses. The character may still Roleplay" while resting, however, they may not train or spar.

Cost: -5

Limitations: This may not be taken with Second Wind, or any skill that grants such an effect.

Note: A Furousha member may create techniques that draw from this chakra only with my express permission. Such techniques will almost always be considered Ninjutsu for the purposes of modding and defense.

Requirements: This skill must be taken by level 10, otherwise, it may not be taken at all.*

*The exception is given to currently existing Furousha above level 10 during the time of the revamp.

Well, I'm personally okay with this all statistically, but the background is what might be iffy. I'm alright with it, but another staff member might not be. That in mind, I'll await another to look over this. If they also believe it's okay, then consider this an approval.

Minor change: In "Chakra of the Demon Cat"'s effects, I altered what previously said "Chakra of the Demon Cat" to now read "Nekomata Chakra". I did this because the former was far too long and tacky. That was all that was altered~

At first I was kinda iffy on the whole 'gaining another tank stat' thing, but limiting it to genin-only attacks... wow... That means that once you hit jounin you may still be up, but can only use weakling attacks... Not the best tradeoff, but better than just getting KOed. This might actually pass, not bad!

The Will of the Cat God: With only a -2, this has the potential to do too much in my opinion. I would suggest either breaking the skill down further, or something like for every 3 levels, the weapon will be upgraded by 2 levels.

Chakra of the Demon Cat: This may not be taken with any other 'Second Wind' type of skill.
