Hardcore Skittlez Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 (edited) Name: Evolved Combinotroial Element: FireworkEffect: Allows the use of the "Firework" Element. Opponents hit by a technique with the "Firework" element are inflicted with "Deafened" for two turns, this may break duration caps. The effects of [Firework] jutsu may be interchanged with the elemental attributes from Subtle Elements [Fire] or [Lightning]. Firework techniques may apply effects that require sound to initiate. Cost: -2 Could be changed to Combinatorial; FireworkEffect: Allows the use of the "Firework" element. Opponents hit by a technique that possesses the "Firework" element" are inflicted with "Deafened" for two turns, this may break duration caps by a maximum of two excess turns. When using the [Firework] element, you may add the effects of either Subtle Elements; Fire or Subtle Elements; Lightning. Firework techniques may apply effects that require sound to initiate. Requirements; Must have Subtle Elements; Fire and Subtle Elements; Fire. Additionally must possess _______ bloodline. Cost: -2 Note the bolded. For the first, breaking caps should still have a limit of some variety, otherwise the cost would be -3 or even -4. For the latter, I feel that this can follow standard Combinatorial rules and allow the application of a lesser element's effects in addition to the ones present in the combinatorial skill. For the requirements section, I feel that because this is meant exclusively for your clan, that it should require the possession of the relevant bloodline. That bit is entirely optional, but just a suggestion. Edited February 16, 2011 by thepaintrolley
Azure Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Agreed with Skittz, this should cost more because, unlike a lot of elements that deal status effects, this is certain while a lot of things have a fail chance. Also, I think he meant "equirements; Must have Subtle Elements; Fire and Subtle Elements; Lightning."
Hardcore Skittlez Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Yeah, that's what I meant. I think that if it had a fail chance of some variety, this might be able to be passed off as a -1 clan skill, and allow [Firework] to replace the clan member's starting element.

cntrstrk14 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 The requirement of the clan bloodline should be removed. I don't see a reason why someone would be unable to learn this. HOWEVER, you can make it a clan skill so that someone must train with a clan member to learn this. (See the jutsu tag rules on the main site for more info) Also, make sure all of your wording is in line with the main site combinatorial skills. These things have a rigid format.
