Gift Exchange List

Recommended Posts

The gift exchange's list of available gifts are detailed below. The spirit of the event is for you to purchase gifts for other characters, so the maximum amount of tickets that a character can spend for a gift for themselves is 5 tickets, while you must spend at least 10 Tickets on gifts for the character assigned to you in the Gift Exchange (However there is no upper limit on the amount you may spend, you can go nuts and spend 25 Tickets if you want.)

The gifts are organized by categories based loosely on an area in which they focus. Knowledge relates to growth and the acquisition of knowledge. Mercy relates to healing and medicine. Wealth relates to monetary and material gifts. Power is all about dealing damage and strength. Lastly, Fortitude gifts are all about endurance and defense.

A Note on Costs: All items listed have a cost of 0, and therefore cannot be resold for any value (Unless otherwise stated. You'll know the exception when you see it). Items may however be traded as normal. Techniques and skills possess a cost and then (0) beside it. This means that any character gaining that skill through this event will receive that technique or skill at the cost of 0 SP/JP, but should they teach it to any other character, it would cost the normal amount listed.

Technique: Fūinjutsu; Jutsu Tensha | Sealing Technique; Technique Transcription | 封印術・術転写
Type: Ninjutsu [Void | Fūinjutsu]
Rank: [user's Rank]
Cost: x Chakra
Effect: This technique may be performed in the Setup Phase. When determining the cost of this technique 'x' is equivalent to the cost of 1 chosen technique that was performed after the user's last turn. The chosen technique must be equal to or lower than the rank of this technique, and may not possess a bloodline requirement that the user does not possess. This technique is removed from the user's list of known techniques and the user of this technique may perform the chosen technique for the remainder of battle as if they knew it. This technique may not be taught.
Description: An extremely uncommon form of jutsu, Technique Transcription is a form of complex sealing arrays that are sealed into the user's ocular nerves. When the user witnesses another jutsu, they may perform this technique and force-ably seal the particulars of a jutsu into their brain for a short time. This form of sealing while extremely precise, is not as perfect at copying techniques as the Sharingan, because the activation of the sealing formula completely removes the ability to perform this technique from the user's brain.

Technique: Gofū Kekkai | Five-Seal Barrier | 五封結界
Type: Ninjutsu [Void | Fūinjutsu]
Rank: Sennin
Cost: 650 Chakra
Effect:  When this technique is performed, the user may apply 1 'Forbidden Seal' to any Barrier on the battlefield. 'Forbidden Seals' may be removed by any character as a Main Phase Action. Anytime a 'Forbidden Seal' is removed, a 'Five-Seal Clone' is created under the control of the user of this technique that has 450 Health, and 75% of the character who removed the seal's other stats. 'Five-Seal Clones' may only target the character that removed the 'Forbidden Seal' and may only use techniques that character has performed in battle. This technique may be performed 1 time per battle.
Forbidden Seal: Barriers affected by this seal may not have their Health reduced below their current Health, and they have no maximum duration.
Description: The Five-Seal Barrier is a powerful sealing jutsu that has been used by centuries. It was originally created as a means of defending fortresses and strongholds. To perform the technique, the user must apply five tags, all marked with the kanji for 'Forbidden' to an object. As long as those sealing formula are in place, the object may not be damaged or destroyed. The seals are only made of paper though, and can be easily removed. As a fail-safe, anytime the seal that creates this technique is removed, it creates a copy of the person removing the seal that attacks at them viciously to protect the object that the seal was created to defend.
