Hardcore Skittlez Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) Tenshingan; 天 心 瞳 術[The Eyes that see the Divine Providence] "The real voyage of discovery consists of not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes." The Tenshingan [Literally "Heaven Eyes", dramatized to "The Eyes that See the Divine Providence"] is a unique and rare dojutsu found within the modern shinobi world; it is a pair of 'divine' eyes that, in actuality, consist of eyes that are surrounded by layers of chakra that ionize gases, creating a plasma that can be released at the clansman's leisure. The appearance of the Tenshingan is unique in that, when the dojutsu is inactive the charged electrons in the plasma cloud relax and cause an undulating display of colors to play across the surface of the eye, akin to the Aurora Borealis, it is rumored that a genjutsu centric branch of the clan sacrifices optical tissue to create a larger reservoir of chakra and "scroll storage". The result being that their entire eye is translucent except for the iris which crackles with the softly rotating tenticles of charged plasma relaxing its electron's energy. Within each clansman's eye, different runes and seals rotate in a precise and purposeful pattern. To date, there have been four primary abilities attributed to the Tenshingan dojutsu. The first of these, and probably one of the most distinct, is the ability to form jutsu seals without any involvement of the user's hands. This ability manifests itself through the inner and middle rings of the dojutsu. The rings twist and align, forming the complex seals needed for a jutsu with the zodiac scrawlings within their irises in a process much similar to that seen in a combination lock. The second noted ability of the Tenshingan is its ability to manipulate plasma as if it were one of the more basic elements- as result of the dojutsu's limited space to manipulate chakra. As the chakra is ground together through the seals, friction is built within the eye and must be expelled before it can harm the sensitive organ; as a result to this expulsion, the air in front of the dojutsu is ionized and converted into plasma- from there, manipulation is but a molding of chakra. The third, arguably the most powerful ability, is the inherent ability to collect excess chakra used within jutsu- as well as the overlapping seals- and charge the collected chakra between the dual electrical shells of their plasma store, to form and release replications of recently formed jutsu. Finally, the fourth ability of the Tenshingan is found within the empty external ring of the iris. In this ring, an experienced wielder of the Tenshingan may bind their chakra into their eyes as they would do when scribing a scroll. Through this, a bearer of the Tenshingan may use their eyes as if it were actually a scroll- to store a jutsu for use at a later date. However, because of the limited space in which there is to store aforementioned jutsu, adding more than one technique per eye dilutes the effectiveness of other sealed jutsu. Because the eye is constantly producing and ionizing clouds of plasma, the clansman radiate micro plasma waves at all times. While not enough to cause any harm to people or things around them, the waves upset polar molecules, causing slight ripples along the surface of water and interferes with human's innate magnetic field. This causes other people to feel slightly "off" when around a Tenshingan wielder, this feeling can develop into nausea or headaches if a life form remains withing the plasma's aura for prolonged periods. The Tenshingan is referred to as the divine eye because a clansman's multifarious gaze causes people to feel as though they were being judged in the eyes of an angel. Glimpse of DivinityBloodline: Tenshingan Cost: 0 (Must meet level requirements before using roll) Effect: Key to Naitekiwa Tenshingan Once per stat battle (no more than once per day), this character may roll a D100. If the roll turns up any number with a four, five, six, or seven in its digits, then they are awarded the Naitekiwa Tenshingan. During the turn that this is successful, the roller is inflicted with "Fazed" for two turns. This skill cannot be used in the Practice Arena. Key to Nakawa Tenshingan Once per stat battle (no more than once per two days), this character may roll a D100. If the roll turns up any number with a five, six, or seven in its digits, then they are awarded the Nakawa Tenshingan. This skill cannot be used in the Practice Arena. Key to Gaitekiwa Tenshingan Once per stat battle (no more than once per three days), this character may roll a D100. If the roll turns up any number with a six or seven in its digits, then they are awarded the Gaitekiwa Tenshingan. This skill cannot be used in the Practice Arena. Costs: All ranks of this bloodline cost 5% of the user's total chakra per turn to upkeep, or 10% per turn in the case of a single eye. [/i] Naitekiwa Tenshingan Decription: The first stage of the Tenshingan appears most like it's assumed heritage. The middle and outer rings remain empty and gray, while the only the inner ring possesses the basic seals of the zodiac. The Tenshingan pupil carries the same black sun as the other stages of the dojutsu at this level. The abilities are unrefined, basic- but still formidable against a foe of equal standing. Effect: Allows for the purchase of Naitekiwa Tenshingan bloodline traits. Must have successfully unlocked the Key to Naitekiwa Tenshingan. -0 Tenshingan Formation [1] Effect: The successful inheritant of the Naitekiwa Tenshingan may perform single elemental techniques as if they were sealless. Requirements: Requires 5 posts of training to be made before this may be used, -1 Tenshingan Plasma Generation [1] Effect: The taker of this skill may use Plasma, a tri-combination element consistent of wind+fire+lightning, jutsu without the need for Subtle Elements or Twisted Colors as long as the Tenshingan is active. -2 Tenshingan Formation Addendum Effect: Allows the taker of this bloodline skill to use Plasma jutsu seallessly through Tenshingan Formation. -1 Tenshingan Replication [1] Effect: When using a jutsu seallessly via the means of Tenshingan Formation, the inheritant may spend x chakra to allow themself a roll that will determine whether or not they may replicate the jutsu used, where X is equal to 1/4 the total cost of the jutsu. Upon paying this cost, the inheritant rolls a D10, and upon a roll of 1-3, the jutsu in question is replicated and therefore performed twice. The second jutsu performed in this manner deals only 1/10th of the original jutsu's base damage. Replicated jutsu do not allow for the stacking of nonstackable effects, nor may a jutsu with a usage limit of 2 or less per battle be replicated. When a replication roll is successful, modifiers are split between the base and secondary jutsu as if it were a multi-hit jutsu. Any stackable effects applied via the replicated jutsu may never add more than 1 additional turn of status, and may never exceed a status effect(Or jutsu)'s built in use limit. Replicated jutsu may not benefit from any cost-reducing effects. This effect may only be used twice per battle at gennin level, thrice at chuunin, four times at jounin, and five times at sennin rank. -1 Nakawa Tenshingan Decription: The second stage of the Tenshingan appears when the middle ring's seals manifest. At this stage, the dojutsu's abilities are moderately powerful, but still somewhat unrefined. It is at this level of the kekkei genkai that the jutsu-sealing ability first becomes accessible. Effect: Allows for the purchase of Nakawa Tenshingan bloodline traits. Must have successfully unlocked the Key to Nakawa Tenshingan. -0 Tenshingan Formation [2] Effect: The successful inheritant of the Nakawa Tenshingan may perform dual-elemental techniques as if they were sealless. Requirements: A 10 post training must be made before this may be used. -1 Tenshingan Plasma Generation [2] Effect: With this skill, plasma-type nin/genjutsu cost 5% less base chakra to use. Does not stack with any other skill that reduces the base cost of jutsu. -1 Tenshingan Replication [2] Effect: When using a jutsu seallessly via the means of Tenshingan Formation, the inheritant may spend x chakra to allow themself a roll that will determine whether or not they may replicate the jutsu used, where X is equal to 1/4 the total cost of the jutsu. Upon paying this cost, the inheritant rolls a D10, and upon a roll of 1-4, the jutsu in question is replicated and therefore performed twice. This effect may only be used twice per battle at gennin level, thrice at chuunin, four times at jounin, and five times at sennin rank -1 Tenshingan Jutsu Sealing [1] Effect: The bearer of this bloodline trait may 'seal' up to 1 jutsu* into either of their eyes, for a total of 2 'sealed' jutsu. For each jutsu sealed, a number of posts must be made as if the jutsu were being scribed onto a scroll, following the rules of scrolled jutsu. For each jutsu beyond the first sealed into the taker's eyes, the total effectiveness of all jutsu sealed within the eye(s) is reduced by 1/2, to a minimum of 1/2 damage/effect(This means that if only one jutsu is 'sealed', there is no penalty. If two jutsu are 'sealed', all 'sealed' jutsu are treated as if their had only 1/2 effect/damage/duration.) The taker may not seal jutsu above their rank, and may not seal jutsu that they do not know. Sealed jutsu follow scroll rules when deciding the appropriate phase and circumstances in which a sealed jutsu may be used. Sealed jutsu cost no chakra to perform, may not be used in the same turn as a scroll or normal jutsu, and may be used despite the condition of the user's hands/arms as long as the Tenshingan is currently active in combat. Sealed response phase jutsu may be used in the response phase to counter or prevent an oncoming jutsu and do not deplete charges of skills that would grant similar effects(Quick Fingers, etc.) Likewise, Sealed jutsu do not benefit from scroll-based skills that do not specifically address this bloodline trait. Sealed jutsu may not benefit from the Tenshingan Jutsu Replication skill series. -3 *Bunshin(clone) techniques sealed may only generate 1 of their clone free of cost, any additional clones must be paid for in accordance to the technique itself. Jutsu with a variable cost may only use the minimum effect(IE, one attack for multi-hit jutsu, level 0 summons, etc.) Jutsu who contain a reactive variable cost(Such as that found in the shield of sand) may not be sealed into the eye. Gaitekiwa Tenshingan Decription: The third and assumed final stage of the Tenshingan appears when the outer ring darkens and develops four lines- each at one of the primary directions within the eye(Top, bottom, left, and right)- that connect the outer ring to the inner. It is at this level that the abilities of the Tenshingan are seen at their peak within the base dojutsu. Effect: Allows for the purchase of Gaitekiwa Tenshingan bloodline traits. Must have successfully unlocked the Key to Gaitekiwa Tenshingan. -0 Tenshingan Formation [3] Effect: The successful inheritant of the Nakawa Tenshingan may perform tri-elemental techniques as if they were sealless. Requirements: Requires 12 posts of training to be made before this may be used. -1 Tenshingan Plasma Generation [3] Effect: With this skill, plasma-type nin/genjutsu cost 10% less base chakra to use. Does not stack with any other skill that reduces the base cost of jutsu, nor the previous ranks of this skill. -1 Tenshingan Replication [3] Effect: When using a jutsu seallessly via the means of Tenshingan Formation, the inheritant may spend x chakra to allow themself a roll that will determine whether or not they may replicate the jutsu used, where X is equal to 1/4 the total cost of the jutsu. Upon paying this cost, the inheritant rolls a D10, and upon a roll of 1-5, the jutsu in question is replicated and therefore performed twice. This effect may only be used twice per battle at gennin level, thrice at chuunin, four times at jounin, and five times at sennin rank -1 Tenshingan Jutsu Sealing [2] Effect: The bearer of this bloodline trait may 'seal' up to 2 jutsu* into either of their eyes, for a total of 4 'sealed' jutsu. For each jutsu sealed, a number of posts must be made as if the jutsu were being scribed onto a scroll, following the rules of scrolled jutsu. For each jutsu beyond the first sealed into the taker's eyes, the total effectiveness of all jutsu sealed within the eye(s) is reduced by 1/4, to a minimum of 1/4 damage/effect(This means that if only one jutsu is 'sealed', there is no penalty. If two jutsu are 'sealed', all 'sealed' jutsu are treated as if their had only 1/2 effect/damage/duration- 3 would be 1/4, etc.) The taker may not seal jutsu above their rank, and may not seal jutsu that they do not know. Hardcore Skittlez Posted May 11, 2009 Author Posted May 11, 2009 NOTES! Yes, I do have permission(From Blue) to use the Sharingan's Key system. I liked it, and so I used it. Other similarities in formating and costs between this and the Sharingan are a matter of circumstance, contrary to whatever belief you may hold involving copycatting. Using the Key System as I have, similar costs were required to be used in order to allow takers of this bloodline to gain higher ranks at lower levels. Again- It was simply easier to use something already existing than to format new costs. There WILL be a fourth level, but I've not decided on an attribute to set it apart from the other 3 yet, so it will be submitted seperatly. Mastery skills will be posted at a later date, as Rilon and I are currently working on them. This bloodline does not currently adhere to a single clan, though a potential one is in development by, again, rilon and myself.
Maelstrom Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Effect: The taker of this skill may use up to genin ranked Light-elemental jutsu as long as the Tenshingan is active. Add, 'without the need for Subtle Elements or Twisted Colors', somewhere into that sentence. Just to clarify.
Eechi-go Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 First things first. I do not like it being even 'remotely' connected to the Rin'negan, even if it's only be legend. That leaves far too much leeway for you to abuse it from being 'decended' from. I know you well enough by now that you'll milk that sentence for every letter it's worth, especially since we denied the original eye. Second, we're not allowing any more clans/bloodlines to just be able to use light. There's already like, 4-5 out there and that's what we're staying at. It's the most complex element, and we're done letting clans and bloodlines use themselves as loopholes. As for replication, do you have to pay chakra for the replicated jutsu? You don't say that, or atleast I missed it. Regardless, I still don't like that ability at all. That's a good way to just spam a bunch of effect-heavy jutsu on the opponent, like forbiddens.
Hardcore Skittlez Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 Rin'negan- No problem, it was only there for some measure of IC prestige. I'll take it out to amend the description as the second issue is addressed. Light use- Going to be temporarily edited to meet Mael's request. Removal of this would be quite a hindrance to the ideas I've laid out for clan techniques, so what if I added a maximum JP limit for the first two ranks? "May only take a number of Light Jutsu who's JP total never exeeds 20/40", or so-forth? Alternatively, I had previously developed a certain limiter for this, but had deemed it too complicated for a simple effect. I'll quote it at the bottom of the post, hopefully that could be used if no other middle-ground could be acquired? Replication- You spend 1/4 the original jutsu's total cost. It deals 1/10 base damage, and forces you to split modifiers evenly between the jutsu used. In addition, to address your concerns, it was added that the replicated jutsu may never stack more than 1 additional turn of a status effect, and reiterated that it may not force a jutsu to exceed any form of use limit. Also, I'd like to note that it is only a -chance- to be replicated, so you might spend a large chunk of chakra for nothing. Previous Light system: Tenshingan Light Capacity [1]Effect: The successful inheritant of the Naitekiwa Tenshingan gains an additional stat gauge beneath their tank states labeled "Light". Light is a special pool that is used as a catalyst for many Tenshingan specific jutsu. The inheritant's "Light" gauge may reach a maximum of 25. This gauge begins at 0 and charges by 5 for every turn of combat in an area with a source of light. As long as this pool has at least 1 "Light" point, the inheritant may use Light jutsu as if they had the appropriate skills necessary. Whenever a light jutsu is used by any combatant other than the inheritant, this pool gains 5 "Light" points. Whenever the inheritant performs a Light elemental jutsu, the jutsu is treated as if it had an additional cost of 15 "Light" points. The Light gauge may reach numbers up to -10, but in the process of becoming negative, it inflicts the user with one turn of Fazed. The Light gauge is reset when combat ends. -1 Tenshingan Light Capacity [2] Effect: The inheritant's "Light" gauge may reach a maximum of 50. Whenever the inheritant performs a Light elemental jutsu, the jutsu is treated as if it had an additional cost of 10 "Light" points. The Light gauge may reach numbers up to -10, but in the process of becoming negative, it inflicts the user with one turn of Fazed. The Light gauge is reset when combat ends. -1 Tenshingan Generation [1] Effect: Whenever a jutsu would utilize the effects of Tenshingan Formation, that jutsu is treated as if it granted the user an additional 5 Light points. Additionally, this allows for the generation of 5 Light points per turn during all conditions. -1 Tenshingan Light Capacity [3] Effect: The inheritant's "Light" gauge may reach a maximum of 75. This gauge begins at 0 and charges by 5 for every turn of combat in an area with a source of light. As long as this pool has at least 1 "Light" point, the inheritant may use Light jutsu as if they had the appropriate skills necessary. Whenever a light jutsu is used by any combatant other than the inheritant, this pool gains 10 "Light" points. -1 Tenshingan Generation [2] Effect: Whenever a jutsu would utilize the effects of Tenshingan Formation, that jutsu is treated as if it granted the user an additional 5 Light points. This skill increases the amount of "Light" generated per turn in enlightened conditions by 5, and allows for the generation of 5 "Light" points per turn in dimly or unlit conditions. -1
Azure Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I'll be taking a look at this in more detail later, but as Eechi said, no auto light clans/bloodlines available anymore. Either Twisted Colors + Subtle Elements your way up the elemental ladder, or develop a way to get light at minimum of Chuunin rank (keep in mind it won't be a simple skill). But right off the bat is a no.
Nagori Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Just to make sure, the concept behind these eyes are different than those that you and I discussed sometime ago, correct? I notice you used the same image for the eye bloodline of the Mikoto Clan, and if I do ever get around to it, I still plan on using the concepts. I don't care if the image of the eye is taken by this, but I just want to make sure that this bloodline isn't like our earlier idea... the sealless justsu ability, right...?
Hardcore Skittlez Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 (edited) edit; Problem clarified and resolved. Would this move more quickly along if the Light element aspect was altered to a different, albeit still complex, element? Rilon and I were thinking somesuch as Plasma as an alternative, based off of the 4 element combination posted by Eechi in a table a few months back. Edited May 12, 2009 by Hardcore Skittlez
Maelstrom Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Plasma as in blood? If so, then Kouta's already done that.
Hardcore Skittlez Posted May 13, 2009 Author Posted May 13, 2009 Plasma as in, Cosmic Plasma-- Ionized gases, etc.
Maelstrom Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 It might just be me, but I think the NA world could do without that.
Eechi-go Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 That list I put up I noted to be just faint concepts, nothing we'd definetly allow. And I'd have to agree with Mael, even if it would be considered a 'lesser' element to light, anything that could be 'cosmic' should be forbidden at the very least. Light's usually used it more uncreative ways here, sadly.
Tsu Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Why don't you just have the clan element void, but explain the process as a different process of stringing the chakra together and then create a mandatory -1 skill that makes clan void jutsu treated as a tier 2 or tier 3 element. It would solve the rational problem of how it would be a higher element, and also wouldn't be the same as other clans. It also wouldn't be a free light jutsu or something that the staff wouldn't want to approve. Just an idea.
Rilon Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) In physics and chemistry, plasma is a partially ionized gas, in which a certain proportion of electrons are free rather than being bound to an atom or molecule. The ability of the positive and negative charges to move somewhat independently makes the plasma electrically conductive so that it responds strongly to electromagnetic fields. Plasma therefore has properties quite unlike those of solids, liquids or gases and is considered to be a distinct state of matter. Plasma typically takes the form of neutral gas-like clouds, as seen, for example, in the case of stars. The important things to focus on when reviewing a plasma element is that Cosmic Gas is just one of the many forms plasma can take. A "plasma" is a state of matter that can be found in everyday household appliances e.g. a television, fluorescent lights, what you're staring at now (computer monitor), neon signs, arc torches, etc... each of these forms of plasma gas are really very ordinary. To deny a plasma element based on its potential to be a cosmic gas is a narrow view (akin to denying fire because the sun is hot and fire is also hot.) A more reasonable limitation would be to state that any Cosmic Plasma jutsu are kept to the forbidden level. In addition, HCS is referring to terrestrial plasma. Which, while it does contain certain cosmic gasses that comprise our ozone and ionosphere, also comprises fire and lightning, both of which are basic elements. Not to mention that within the (limitless) confines of fiction, a "plasma" could be referring to say, a combination of wind, fire, and lightning. (Representing non-cosmic plasma gases, heat, and ionization respectively.) The logic here being that wind gives substance to the plasma molecules, heat gives the plasma ions motion so they aren't simply stationary (resulting in friction thus rendering heat), and lightning ionizes the plasma which allows it to stick together and not spray off into a totally ineffective and chaotic mess like most molecules that surround and comprise us tend to do. It'd cost a minium of 3 skill point (character replace home village element with void) for a 2nd tire spot and 4 skill points for a third tier spot.
Hardcore Skittlez Posted May 13, 2009 Author Posted May 13, 2009 Description has been amended, and the light granting skills have been altered; At the first rank, they grant the ability to use Plasma type jutsu(Which is wind-fire-lightning). The later two ranks reduce the base chakra cost of PLasma jutsu by 5/10%
Maelstrom Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) Haven't two Moderator's already told you they don't like the idea of a plasma element being used? Do you people have 'selective reading' nowadays? They seem to only read what they want, and completely disregard anything they don't. It's amazing. Edited May 13, 2009 by Maelstrom
Rilon Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Is there a reason why you don't like it? So far all I've seen you say is that you think the NA world could do without an element that is related to ionized gases, no reason or actual support for your statement besides personal distaste. If you can inform us of just how a three part combinatorial element that has roots in an actual physical state of matter that you see every day is game breaking then yes, we would begin developing our ideas in a different direction. Also, from what I read purely in his post, Eechi is against the idea of jutsu that are "cosmic" being any level besides forbidden and, if you would have read my last post you would see that I agreed that "cosmic" jutsu should only be forbidden level, but while all cosmic gases are plasma not all plasma are cosmic gases, this still leaves a huge range of development for plasma techniques that don't involve solar winds or ionosphere gases. I know I've been away for a little while but last I checked a moderator's job was not to spam and flame creation topics but rather to provide constructive criticism to ensure game balance.
Khaos Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) There's no real reason that this should be disliked. Rilon's first post addresses most if not all qualms and the description's been changed. "selective reading" - that's funny. The only thing yet to be addressed by the creators is Rei's '2nd Tier = 3SP, 3rd Tier = 4SP' comment (which may have been indirectly addressed in the latest edit; albeit without declaration; via the -assumed- change of cost to 2SP. Negotiation maybe?). No staff have commented on the change to plasma being a three tier element other than Rei (Though it was in reply to Tsu's post). I don't know where the basis is for the use of a single third tier element being 4SP is anyway; especially when 2SP more would grant access to all third tier elements by way of 'Twisted Colours' and the character gives up their home village element (which should be added because it's one of those NA pseudo-balance anti-loophole measures). Edited May 13, 2009 by Khaos
Eechi-go Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 As far as I'm concerned, stars and sun are composed of 'light' in our system. I can go for plasma so long as we're not leaving earth's natural plasmas until you begin falling into forbidden range, or at the very least Sennin. I still don't think a bloodline should allow this, especially an 'eye', but I digress. So probably about 3-4 SP, like Rei said.
Maelstrom Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 It falls under the same reasoning as to why we don't allow any techniques of the 'gravity' element; it's not necessary. Also, Rei's comment was in regards to the 'void' suggestion Tsu made. It had nothing to do with 'plasma'. Oh, and Rilon, you're considering this 'spam'? Far from it actually. Take it how you want, but everything I've said is constructive and criticism. Really, I wouldn't go insulting the Staff. It's not the best way to get your way around here.
Rilon Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Actually I considered your post about selective reading spam, yes. Your most recent post is certainly not spam whatsoever. A lot of the jutsu on this site aren't necessary in context of the roleplay, I always thought the reason why gravity was denied is that it would prove to be a game breaking mechanic. Plasma is not a game breaking mechanic just a unique element to distinguish one clan from the next. Thank you for clarifying that Rei was writing about Tsu's post by the way. @Eechi thank you, texting HCS now about upping the skill point cost.
Maelstrom Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) For that 'Jutsu Sealing' ability, make a note that any scrolling skills that effectively lower the amount of posts necessary to write a technique into a scroll may never be applied, and that all scroll skills in general may never be applied in any way. Also, what happens to the 'sealed' technique after it's been used (unless it's mentioned already, but I didn't see that it was)? I'm assuming they're 'unsealed' and can't be used again, which is what I'd prefer. If not, then you need to be more specific. Oh, and Rilon, the post you're referring to was certainly not spam. He essentially ignored what two Moderator's had previously mentioned (though I concede that Eechi only had a problem with the 'cosmic' aspect of it all), and so I was pointing out that fact. If you consider that spam then you need to check your definition again. I also question if 'plasma' could even really be considered an element. In the very least, I'd like to see an example of how this would be utilized in a technique, before I sign off on it. Edited May 13, 2009 by Maelstrom
Rilon Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Ok, HCS will add the clause that "scrolling" skills can't reduce the amount posts for sealing an eye jutsu. Sealed eye jutsu follow regular scroll rules, they disappear after being used. Some examples of plasma jutsu: A ray or beam of energy charged between the two electrical coils in plasmic gas (ninjutsu) a release of plasmic gas that, after being inhaled or soaking into the skin would cause pain receptors to overload (genjutsu).
Hardcore Skittlez Posted May 13, 2009 Author Posted May 13, 2009 Added in a line to the jutsu sealing series that reads "Likewise, Sealed jutsu do not benefit from scroll-based skills that do not specifically address this bloodline trait." Which leaves room for similar skills to be made as mastery sub-skills, but those are to be addressed at a later date. Sealed jutsu are depleted after they are used, as Rilon ahas said. @Plasma replacing home village element: I'd be fine with that, if we could use plasma jutsu all the time. As it's worded now, Plasma-type jutsu are only usable when the dojutsu is active.
