Description: The Cyclone IV; Bow Type is a specialty kitesailing board designed and created by Iona Keanu of the Arrakis Falcons for his own use. The board itself is a compact design with retractable fins activated with the users chakra for easy transfer between sand and water surfaces. As is the focus of kitesailing, board and kite are optimized for speed and control, allowing the rider to pull sharp turns and launch with maximum lift, reaching speeds of up to 70 KPH in the most extreme wind. The kite type is a flat LEI with features including a concave trailing edge, a shallower arc in planform, and a bridle along the leading edge. The kite can be folded up into a convenient backpack shape that the board can attach to as well, making transportation a breeze. This board design is considered to be along the bleeding edge of the sport, which may account for the Falcons recent winning streak.
