cntrstrk14 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Kaiokuri | Ashsender | 灰送Weapon Type: KusarigamaSize: LargeLevel: 20Attributes: Razor Edge, Link Formation, Dual Strength, Inlaid Element; Ash, UniqueSpecial Abilities: Φ Portent of CindersKaiokuri consumes nearby flames, drawing them into itself and becoming warm to the touch. With it's next series of swings it unleashes all of that heat in a burst of power, the bone blades that once housed the Yonbi glowing orange white with the beast's power, moving fast enough to leave an after image in the air.Effect: The user may use a Setup Phase action to absorb a nearby source of fire* to gain one stack of 'Cinderswell'. For each stack of 'Cinderswell' attacks made with Kaiokuri deal an additional 5x% of their total damage as 'Burning' damage to the target's total health**. During the start of their turn the wielder must pay 5*(x^2) split between Chakra and Stamina or the weapon loses all stacks of 'Cinderswell'.Φ Vessel of EmbersThe essence of the Yonbi lives on through these bones, allowing chakra to be stored in them and hold fire based powers. When that power is unleashed, the lingering power of the Yonbi is unleashed as well, bursting with a wave of ash and fire.Effect: One (1) Ash Ninjutsu technique may be inscribed on this item through the use of the skill ‘Scribe’. Techniques inscribed on this item take half as many words to inscribe. In addition, when an attack is used with 'Vessel of Embers' the user increases the Damage and Effects of the attack by 10x%, where x is equal to the number of 'Cinderswell' stacks the weapon has. This item functions as a 'scroll' and is not consumed when used. Description: During the First Shinobi World War, Son Gokū the Yonbi tailed beasts, was temporarily transferred into a massive wild beast as a weapon to be used against Iwagakure no Sato by a forward line force from Kumogakure no Sato. The transfer was a reckless and impetuous action by an army that was on the brink of defeat. The beast, consumed by the flames but unable to focus it's uncontrollable rage, tore apart the army that had created it along with the Iwagakure forces as well. It took the intervention of the Shodai Raikage A to stop the beast, slaying it in a single devastating attack. It was this battle that relinquished control of the Yonbi from Kumogakure to Iwagakure, which was cemented by the division of tailed beasts amongst nations by the First Hokage. In the aftermath of the battle, a squad of samurai retrieved the remains of the beast that the Yonbi had inhabited and returned them to the Tetsu no Kuni. From amongst these remains, two ribs that had been directly before the beast's heart were preserved with the potent essence of their former host. The samurai of Tetsu no Kuno kept these bones, using their limited resources to seal the items until they could be forged into weapons. Unable to forge the ribs into swords, the country formed them into an kusarigama, which the samurai planned to use as a ranged weapon to engage the much more versatile ninja when the battle came to their lands. The war ended and the weapon's origin was kept secret for many years. In the wake of the Fourth Shinobi World War, the samurai of Tetsu no Kuno offered the weapon Iwagakure as a sign of good will as the original owners of its source. The weapon spend many decades in Iwagakure no Sato unused until it was stolen by an unknown rogue ninja in a defection from the village. The weapon was lost for many years before resurfacing in the hands of a bandit lord in Sekitan no Kuni. The warlord was put down by a Kumogakure NCIA peacekeeping force where the weapon was recovered and returned to the village. When the Kumogakure Empire collapsed, the Fell clan was placed in charge of safekeeping the weapon, which is where it lays until this day.The weapon itself is two large bone sickles attached with a chain made of the finest iron the land of the same name has to offer. The weapon's demonic appearance is thanks to the transformation that overtook it's original host, causing the bones themselves to grow and warp in strange ways. The cloth wraps and tassels have changed many times over the years and are not the original.Cost: $2770 Ryo * - Sources of fire absorbed are for RP purposes and do not have any systematic effects, including but not limited to removing Terrain effects or other negative abilities.** - Damage dealt to Total Health is subtracted from both their current Health and total Health. This means that the opponent's Total Health is considered to be that much lower for the remainder of the battle.
cntrstrk14 Posted January 5, 2016 Author Posted January 5, 2016 Notes & Calculations - Dual Strength may be found here. - Inlaid Element may be found here. - Level 20 [$670], Razor Edge [$250], Inlaid Element; Ash [$100], Link Formation [$100], Dual Strength [$50], Unique [$50]. - Portent of Cinders: Estimate approximately $700 for this effect. Kind of a shot in the dark. It could be powerful with no cap, but the costs quickly become out of hand which gives the ability a 'soft' cap. - Vessel of Embers: Large Reusable Scroll + half words required + additional % bonus - restriction of Ash only. Estimating approximately $850 for this effect.
cntrstrk14 Posted May 8, 2016 Author Posted May 8, 2016 Was this a fever dream creation? I don't remember making this...
Cellar Door Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Approved, minor edit was made to remove a lingering Quest section that had no purpose, but I'm moving it anyway since there was no system changes.
