acillies45 Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Jinsoku had been walking to the fountian and had almost made it. He wanted to wait for Baromosa though, so he leaned up against a wall and waited. This didnt last long however, seeing as Baromosa was quick and caught up to him in almost no time. He was a little relieved the fool hadnt stayed with his friend and ignored Jinsoku's message. But he was still mad at him for ignoring him and going on a date. He didnt obviously get te severity of the situation they were in. They were still being chased around by the NCIA. And if they werent at the moment, once they find out that one scout is missing, they would be shortly. Baromosa greeted him with a sarcastic tone, but tryed to be friendly. Jinsoku ignored his first comment entirly. He didnt even show if he was annoyed or not. When Baromosa asked what was up, Jinsoku started for the fountian. "Donno, a little bird told me that we should go here." He wasnt going to admit who it had been, and by his tone it wouldve been hard to tell. He was hiding his maddness at Baromosa for the time being. This was one of those things that would pass quickly, but he was still mad now, so he wasnt going to be poliet. As soon as he reached the fountian, he looked in the clear water. He saw some coins in it. Jinsoku knew that if he just walked up to it for no reason, he would look suspicious. So he looked up at the scupture in the middle and threw one or two coins in. If no one was here in five minutes, he would leave and just tell Baromosa that it must have been a bad bit of info. Baromosa Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 "Well, are they meeting us here?" Baromosa asked him lightly, looking around and taking a few slow breaths to make sure he took the entire situation into focus. Scanning around he didn't notice any unusual activity. It was growing late and most people were inside by a fire or in their beds. No children at all were outside playing, they had all gone to their homes long before now. 'I gave up a nice warm bed with Lily to come out here and play ninja with him. Sheez.' Baro thought and yawned, unimpressed with the small fountain. He did note that it was quite odd to have a nice fountain like this out in the middle of nowhere, but other then that he didn't show much interest. After a few minutes Baromosa sighed again and looked back at the Inn he came from. "You know, a girl is much more interesting the water. But I'm sure you'll find out someday." he whispered softly and thought about how much conversation he could still fit in if he ditched Jinsoku right now. Knowing it wasn't honorable to leave his comrade though with a mysterious greeter, he waited longer and looked at Jin in a way to try and communicate he would stay with him. The splashing of the water caught his attention now, and Baro looked out how the droplets of water touched the ground and sank in such a poetic way to him. Words in Post: 242 Total: 4547
acillies45 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 (edited) Jinsoku was looking at the fountian still. He didnt even turn when Baromosa asked him if 'they' were meeting them there. He didnt even get the question, but he decided to answer it anyway. "What do you mean?" He asked calmly. "I was told to come here. I fiugure that you might as well come along, seeing as you werent doing anything too important." He said, trying to mock him. It wasnt very ninja-like to be with a girl, especially when they were supposed to consentrate. He had lost alot of confisdence in his parter since he would rather spend time with a girl, then to resupply and get back to camp and get ready to move. He turned his head finnally to Baromosa when he mentioned somthing about a girl being more important then water. "You know what, stay here if you want to. I dont just mean tonight, I mean dont come with Sensei and me when we leave. Because you seem to like that wench more then you care about going off to train." He knew that that language might have been drastic, but he was mad at Baromosa for thinking he was better then Jinsoku. He belittled him whenever he got the chance. He turned his head back to the fountian, he would ignore anything else his partner said. He didnt want to talk to him right now. Baromosa Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 (edited) Looking at his partner from the corner of his eyes, Baromosa snorted softly and sighed again. 'How did I end up having to take care of this kid.' Baro thought to himself, not finding that aspect a too appealing part of this mission. 'I haven't really done that great of a job. I need to stick around more. Ugh, and Lily was looking so good too.' he added in his mind but in the end walked closer to the fountain, next to Jinsoku. "So, we could see sensei again soon. Are you excited?" he asked nonchalantly and looked into the water again, staring into the light that flickered across it and the coins in the bottom. A small wind blew across the water, making it shiver where the fountain hadn't touched before. "Well, anyways. It should be interesting. I wish we could meet more people though, this town is so small. It feels a bit odd, huh? So much quiet, so much.... harmony. Even the bugs seem to chirp in sync." Baromosa noted out loud and thought about how he and Lily so quickly went together, and how fast Jinsoku and his sensei became one team. Everything was flowing like the fountain in front of them, so fast that it was untraceable save just what water that was constantly in front of them before it changed. 'This is going to be interesting. I want to say good bye to Lily though. She's a good friend.' he thought to himself on a different subject for looking to Jin for what he would want to say. ...Rhianna... Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Kaoru nodded sharply to his older companion, and headed in the direction he was told to go. He liked being on his own, but in times like these it was safer to travel in pairs. Time passed, and eventually the fifteen year old got to Kinomi no Toshi. It was a small, quaint village very cutesy and delicate like. Kaoru didn't like it. Everything was too perfect, too happy. With the birds singing and the bees humming their tiny tunes. Too peaceful, too quiet. Since Soujiro hadn't told him exactly where to find the two, Kaoru decided to look around first and get his bearings. Cobblestones shifted under his feet as he made his way through the streets shutters swung on their frames making creaking noises behind the whistling of the wind. It was getting late, hardly anyone was out and about. The tall, lean boy continued on his walk. He was now in search of an inn. Baromosa and Jinsoku would be staying in one if there were nowhere else, it was worth a try. It didn't take him long until he found the small bed and breakfast. Kaoru walked up to the man behind the counter and asked, "Do you have someone by the name of Jinsoku or Baromosa checked in here? I was supposed to meet with them." The man nodded, "Oh yes. You wont find them in their rooms though, they're out." "Ok. Thanks" Kaoru said politely and left the building. If he didn't find them soon he would in the morning, he'd just stay the night in the inn and meet them tomorrow. It was late now, with the sun setting on the distant horizon. About to turn back and head once more for the inn Kaoru heard voices. He turned the corner and there he saw two buys sitting by a fountain. It was an odd scene for two males to be seen in, but Kaoru walked up to them. "Hey." Kaoru said, smiling his sinister half smile. "Do you two happen to know Jinsoku and Baromosa?" acillies45 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Jinsoku ignored Baromosa's first comment. What did he mean by would he be excieted to see Sensei? They had just seen him that morning. He didnt care really. He would wait weeks for somone else to come and train him if he had to. This man who had found them so far hadnt gotten any confidence from Jinsoku. He hadnt seen him do anything but tell them to go to different places. It wasnt like he didnt like the man, he had style, but beyond that, there wasnt much he knew about him. So far, he was traveling with a total stragner. He could be NCIA for all he knew. He really hoped he wasnt, that would really make him mad. As for Baromosa's second comment, all Jinsoku said was "Not really. Konoha is...was a much better place to live. Being in sync means nothing if its not a home." He said this quietly and didnt care if Baromosa heard him or even agreed with him. He was fine if it came to an arguement, but it wouldnt. He knew Baromosa was trying to be nice, but so far, he just ended up making things worse. He didnt even know Jinsoku and he acted like they were long-time friends. Jinsoku wasnt about to let himself get very close to this other boy, not until he found that he could be better at being a ninja then he was now. Jinsoku looked at the sky, his internal clock had struck five minutes. Hmmm...maybe that girl was just pulling my leg... He said. He only wanted to be here for about five minutes, otherwise it would turn out to be a waste of time. "Common, lets head back to camp..." He said calmly and leaned off the fountian and turned around. There, comming toward them, was a boy. He looked tall and also older then Jinsoku. He couldnt see his face very well, because it was getting dark out. The boy asked if they had seen Baromosa and Jinsoku. Baromosa, you better not screw this up... He thought. "Depends, who wants to know?" He asked back. He really hoped Baromosa wouldnt be stupid and give up info without finding out who this person was. (Word Count=372 Total=4740)
Azure Posted September 25, 2007 Author Posted September 25, 2007 The girl from the memories of Jinsoku appeared at the strike of five, seeming to bounce along the street when she came out of a building and met the two of them; now three. Spotting the young Konoha-nin she went over to him, waved slightly before adressing the group. "Oh? There's more of you. I thought there was only going to be two, looks like we'll need another room. C'mon, tonight, you three can stay at my family's inn, free of charge. We'll even make food for you. There's going to be a festival soon, wither tonight or tomorrow night, it depends on the berry crop. It could be ripe today or tomorrow, we'll just have to see! You know you want to!" She said with a wink to the three boys. Her slender figure wasn't wrapped tightly to her clothes, a striped peach and white t-shirt along with tighter fitting jeans. "You have time to spare, what do you say?"
Baromosa Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Hearing this Baromosa smiled more and nodded happily, thinking this must be a sister or cousin or something of Lily's, if it was the same inn anyways. He didn't quite understand who this girl was but as long as it didn't seem to dangerous, Baro figured he could handle whatever situation Jinsoku got themselves into to. Quite unfairly, Baro was making the habit of blaming Jin in his mind. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm coming with her." Baromosa declared softly, walking just a bit behind her. He felt a bit tired from all the rushing about, but the cool air did raise his spirits as did the thought of a nice warm bed and maybe a small meal before sleep. Looking over the girl, Baro tried to remember if he had seen her before, but decided he hadn't and moved on like it was nothing significant. Words in post: 149 Total: 4960

He was about to decline the offer, when Baromosa declared that he was going with the girl. Is he really this stupid? Jinsoku thought in his mind. He doesnt even know this girl and he assumes that she is friendly. He paused and waited for a moment, but he didnt want his partner to get in trouble. He didnt need that right now. "Baromosa, if you have any sort of brains, youll stay here right now and figure this out with me. If you have half a brain, you'll know thats what teams do. They respect each others ideas and thoughts." He said, turning to the young woman. "Please hold your offer a minute. I want to know who you are before I go anywhere with you." He said, almost coldly. He didnt trust this girl. She was too pretty and too kind to be a normal person. He turned his attention finnally to the other boy who had shone up. "Yes, I did just call him Baromosa. Im Jinsoku. Please tell me how you heard about us. If you dont, I might have to force the matter." He said, reaching for a kuni. (Word Count=204 Total=4944)

Why would Soujiro send you here if he thought you would be in danger? If you haven't noticed, this isn't a town populated with ninja, nor even the NCIA." She claimed flatly. She was starting to become slightly annoyed with this amount of mistrust and overall uptightness he portrayed. But the annoyance wasn't sever, nothing to bother her with. She just simply was trying to show them some hospitality.
...Rhianna... Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 (edited) Kaoru listened to Jinsoku's remark and smiled, his eyebrows raised in question. The younger boy had just said who they were without meaning to. Had he said, 'we don't know them', Kaoru would be on his way. But no, it was obvious by the simple way Jinsoku held himself that he was a ninja and cautious of a fight. Before Kaoru could speak though, a young woman walked up to the trio and asked them to follow. He watched through his striking, pale green eyes the exchange of words from Jinsoku to Baromosa. It was clear there was tension there, but Kaoru ignored their little catfight. His long, midnight hair swayed behind him as Kaoru turned his handsome face to Jinsoku, a small smile on his lips. "Listen to the lady. I'm Kaoru, sent here by Soujiro to find you two because he has tasks to do." Apart from his dark smile, Kaoru held very little expression as he spoke but his voice lowered so only Jinsoku and Baromosa could hear. "There is no need to bear a weapon against a stranger, though you don't have to trust me." Kaoru spoke, his eyes on the weapon Jinsoku touched cautiously. "I suggest we take her offer," Kaoru nodded to the female, "since it will be warm and free in the inn. As for her as a threat, there are three of us and one of her. She may be skilled at fighting but if you keep your eyes open and alert you may not be harmed." Kaoru turned his head to the girl once more, "Now, you know all our names. He didnt understand the man, nor was he starting to like his tardyness from his pupils. He didnt come on this picnic to stay in inns and rest in a small town, he came to train. He didnt care how grueling it was, anything was better then sitting and waiting for somthing to happen. Jinsoku turned his head to Kaoru to get a look at him. He was tall and had dark hair. Jinsoku didnt need much more then that. "Listen...Kaoru." He said, looking at the boy's face. "I dont know why Soujiro sent you, but if he did then that means you must have some sort of talent. So welcome to the team, as for you..." He said, turning his head to the young woman. He also pointed his kuni to the girl, not as a threat, but just because he didnt want to put it away just yet, he aslo wanted to show he was serious."I dont trust you because you dodge my questions. I have asked who you are and what do you know about Soujiro, but you change the subject and call me mistrusting. I dont mistrust people I feel I can trust. Baromosa Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 "Oh for the love of God, lets get inside. It's cold, late, and I've heard enough questions. Lets wrap it up, get inside, and talk more there." Baromosa said casually, letting them no exactly what was on his mind which was rare. Staying quiet again, Baro folded his arms and looked in his teammates general direction but not directly at them. 'I can't stand all this arguging, if he calls us a team again and keeps doing this I'm going to have to teach him what it means. Hell, someone should teach us all what it means.' Baro thought to himself, letting the cool night air breath slowly into his lungs. Apparently nothing was going to be easy, even when they had finally gotten together Baromosa noticed how they actively had suspicions. The whole nature of the town had calmed him however, and he would not get defensive until the situation called for it. 'They all act like the world might be out to get us.' was his final thought before he listened to what others had to say. Words in post: 179 Total: 5139

I just know that you're from Konoha and Soujiro sent you here. I know him because...I'm his sister. " Her voice trailed off and remained sharp on the last two syllables she spoke, her voice never fluttering, but would this be the answer Jinsoku was looking for? Would this establish the trust that he was reluctant to grab? She folded her arms, waiting for Jinsoku to agree, or make up his mind, if he wanted to stray alone.
acillies45 Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 In one swift motion, Jinsoku put his kuni away and snapped the strap of it. "Thats all I wanted." He said quietly. The look on his face showed that he obviously was a little mad at himself for being so uptight, but he didnt want to get attacked again the day after he had gotten away from Konoha. That wouldnt do to get killed. He looked over to Baromosa, after have ignored his last comment. "Did your mother never teach you patience?" He asked. "Sheesh, if you would just wait a moment, then you might get to sleep. Its not that late and its certianly not cold out." There was a slight breeze, but nothing more. He didnt know why Baromosa was being so whiney all of a sudden. Even though it was a little rude the way he had done it, he had found out who this girl was. Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 (edited) Kaoru listened to Jinsoku take control of the situation, his facial expressions did nothing to betray the feeling he felt -which was very little - and the thoughts running through his head. He was tired, and this was too much fuss in such a small situation. Even after what Namiko had said about her relationship with Soujiro, Kaoru didn't trust her, nor the other two in fact. Trust was earned, and they were merely strangers. As for a team, that wasn't the word Kaoru would use, more like group. Teammates trusted each other, and there was very little of that here. "Yes," the teenager whispered in his low voice. "Lets go. I'm hungry." The sun had set now, and the night's chill was indeed starting to creep on them. Baromosa Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 (edited) "Sounds good." Baromosa agreed peacefully to ease the tension. Smiling at Kaoru softly he walked by his two companions, lightly trailing their leader's supposed sister. A lot was still on Baro's mind at the moment while they walked in silence, thinking about Lily and how soon he would leave and start his experiences off all over again in a new place. 'Well, at least it won't be boring.' he comforted himself with and sighed to himself the closer they got to the Inn. 'I hope she won't be too disappointed... maybe we can be penpals or something.' Baro mused to himself again, smirking to the end of his own thought. Then he chuckled thinking about how odd he would look smirking to his 'friends' and Baro started to laugh softly with out looking up off the street or at their expressions. Baro simply imagined their confusion in his mind and walked ahead of them, still laughing at things he wasn't sure about. Now that the sun was set, Baro loved the feeling of their shadows vague in the twilight, and the whole atmosphere of the town made things more amusing to him then they really were. 'If only life had background music.' Baromosa complained in his mind and smiled at the thought of a good wooden flute duet to mask their entrance. Azure Posted September 30, 2007 Author Posted September 30, 2007 "Then let's go!" She said happily, leading the group across the street where the fountain started to show the hues of colors emanating off the sky and sun that began to set. They walked in to what seemed like a rather large homestead, built out of hard wood. When they walked through the doors, they could see the dining room off to the side, the lounge area off to the other side and a large staircase filing up to the next floor. "Hold on...I'll be right back." She whispered while walking away for two minutes clocked. Reappearing, she had three keys in her hands. "Your rooms are four, five and six, choose whichever you want. If you prefer to share rooms, just leave a key at the desk. It's forty five minutes until dinner, so take that time to get settled or explore the inn here. See yous later!" She called while half walking away from the group and disappearing once again behind two doors near the dining area marked off for staff only.
...Rhianna... Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Kaoru smiled and nodded as he took his key from Namiko. The turned without a word and walked up the stairs to him room. Turning the key in the door he looked inside. He was still cautious about Namiko, and who she said she was. Anyone could say a random name and pretend to have a whole character behind it. It was the same with papers, anyone could forge a signature and claim what it said was true. It all depended on how good of an actor you were. So as Kaoru opened the door to his room he was careful to listen first than to enter without being aware of his surroundings. No one was in the room so he walked through and took of his coat and threw it on his double bed along with his rucksack. The teenager stood for moment, his icy blue eyes taking in the room and all its features. There was his four-poster double bed with a side table next to it with an oil lamp. The red curtains were wide open to allow fresh air to flow through the room. A writing desk, dresser and shelf with a small arrangement of books completed the room. Kaoru walked over to the book tucked into the corner and peered at the collection there. Shoved behind the different books was one he pulled out to examine. It wasn't old, but worn as if it had lasted through many battle and foal weather. It was a book on fighting techniques. Standing once more Kaoru took the book and left the room, turning the key in the lock as he did so. He walked down the stairs into the lobby and one of the side doors. Once outside he sat with his back to the wall so he couldn't be approached from behind unawares but under a window so the light that spilled from it lit the pages from his book. Settling down, and ignoring the cold breeze that ruffled his long ebony hair, Kaoru started reading but all the time aware of his surroundings. He liked outside better than inside. He had never enjoyed being cooped up in a building for too long -especially an unfamiliar one such as this inn. ((Word Count: 375 Total Word Count: 1442))
Baromosa Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 (edited) Baromosa smiled and bowed slightly before taking his key and slipping it into the sleeve of his shirt. Waiting for everyone else to go before him, Baro then made his quiet way up the old wooden stairs that creaked under each weighted step. The eerie but expected sounds made him wince softly, but did not stumble Baro as he walked swiftly past the three rooms provided and knocked on the last door at the end of the hall, notably Lily's door. After taking a few breaths in the still air, the door opened and a smiling girl stood there. "Welcome back Baro." She whispered softly, her red kimono covering all but two brilliant brown eyes excited to see his face again. Baro smiled a bit and whispered, "Is that room still available?" he asked, grabbing onto the door frame and holding himself up and just a bit closer to Lily's red lips. She blushed at how he inadvertently showed his strength and nodded with a smile, backing up a bit before turning to move towards her bed. "I'd love to have you, if you don't mind it. Didn't you get your own room though?" she asked and smiled as she turned around, he hair falling from its bun to flow down her shoulders. Baromosa walked to her with on hand behind his back much like a gentlemen after closing the door, and put his other hand on hers. "I thought it would be nice to see you again, for all I know this is my last night here, though I think I should return someday." he stated again, moving their selves back to the bed. "It might be a long night." Baro commented with a smirk and sat with Lily on the foot of her bed, their eyes locked with curiosity and intrigue about each other. His breath stiffened nervously and Lily giggled, making him chuckle and look at her again from a new angle. The candle light from the end table made her eyes sparkle with an inner fire, and her teeth and cheeks seemed to glow with the flame. "You look really nice tonight Lily, I am glad you asked me." Baro told her softly, rubbing her hand in his fingers gently. "I know Baro, you're so sweet. I'm really glad to be with you. I knew it from the first moment I saw you, you were so different. Baro don't leave tomorrow." Lily said weakly and fell down to his chest, grabbing his shirt. Putting his arms gently over Baro tried to calm her and said, "I will try Lily, it's alright." he whispered, thinking about how painful it was for him when his friend left him years ago. He took the last key, the one to room seven and turned to walk away. He stopped quickly and turned his head back. "By the way, if your brother comes, please tell him I would like to talk with him. Hes been a bit...mysterious and I want to find out more about him. If thats fine with him that is.." He said and walked to the stairs and up to his room. He was a little tired and he wanted to be rested. He opened the door and walked in. He looked around and he wasnt surprised. It had a bed, a table and a little balconey. He set his bag on the bed and looked around. The wall paper was light and cheery and overall, the room was a plesent place to be. He smiled a little. Staying here wouldnt be bad he figured. ...Rhianna... Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Kaoru looked up from his book after a little longer than half an hour. His stomach rumbled softly enough to make him smile. Guessing that it was nearly time for dinner he went back inside to put his book back were he had gotten it. The boy walked slowly but had a graceful air for someone who was quite strongly built. His black and white converse shoes made little noise with each step he took. Having spent some time trying not to be noticed and hiding from people, he didn't even realise he was being cautious. Kaoru sat on his bed, the metal chains around his jeans clinking from the contact with the blankets. With the book replaced back on the shelf, Kaoru flopped backwards onto the soft covers. He noted the flowery scent that seemed to rise in a puff and scrunched his nose at it. This place was all too doll-like for his taste, with everything so perfect and orderly. He hadn't met anyone else besides Jinsoku, Baromosa, Namiko and the inn man so far but he had the feeling that the town's people would all be really friendly and only cautious of their nosey neighbours. If this place got attacked it would be easily defeated. With so little defence, Kaoru wondered if anyone here was prepared for an attack. Even if Kinomi no Toshi was small and easily hidden, wouldn't it be a nice place for the NCIA to hide out, store food and rest before moving on. At these thoughts Kaoru frowned, he didn't like that. But Baromosa and Jinsoku must have been here a while, it couldn't be too bad. Murmuring came from the next room; Kaoru could hear it. For a second he thought he could hear Baromosa's voice, and guessed he wasn't alone in there. No wonder there was a little tension between the other two, if Baromosa could so easily put his trust in a girl whom he'd probably just met he could be might be able to be tricked and fooled. But even so, Kaoru smiled evilly at the thought of the two in there. Rising from his bed Kaoru left room number five and walked down the stairs to find where they'd be eating, wincing at the creaking of wooden floorboards under his feet. Baromosa Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 (edited) Baromosa held her for a few minutes but discovered that his legs were restless and he didn't want to stay laying down all night. "Lily, would you like to talk by the balcony?" He suggested positively and took her hand when she nodded. Getting up Baro easily made it to the window in two long strides and gripped the railing, looking at how the small town grew dark so quickly before his eyes. "Soon the stars will be out, that is always my favorite part of the night. When they come out people stop what they are doing and look out of their windows to see them. Can anything be more peaceful?" Baro asked and smiled, tracing out the constellations in his mind from what he could see. Lily nodded and smiled, standing next to him and looking up to the horizon. "I've always preferred sunsets myself, but now that you mention it, I think I like the moon in the night sky the most." Lily stated and smiled softly and Baro, her face becoming more relaxed then their more intense moment. After a few minutes of standing around talking they were both interrupted by Baro's stomach growling. Lily giggled amused, but Baro felt so embarrassed about it before he laughed a small chuckle. A small blush dissipated across his cheeks before he told her, "I should go have dinner, would you like to join me if you haven't eaten?" Baro asked, swinging her hand in his. "Oh, I ate before you came over." Lily admitted and motioned to the bed. "I'll wait up for you though, hurry back." she said with a small wink and giggled, going over to a table and grabbing a scroll off it. Baro smiled and nodded to her and said, "I'll be back soon, of course." Baro said as he was leaving, hurrying down the hallway and heading to the creaky stairway. Hearing someone he smiled as he saw it was Kaoru looking around. "Hey man, has anyone said anything of dinner yet?" Baromosa asked and looked around quietly. The inn didn't seem particularly active at the moment, but Baro thought it would be nice to have dinner with his new friends before he retired for the night. 'I wonder if we'll get something like breakfast earlier.' he thought, remembering the taste of berries and oatmeal. Words in post: 392 Total count: 6225 Edited October 5, 2007 by Baromosa
acillies45 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Jinsoku had heard the balconey next to him open and saw two people come out. It was Baromosa and his little girl friend. He didnt move and didnt draw attention to himself. He could care less if they wanted to make out her on the balconey, but he didnt want to talk to Baromosa. Not since he had become so stupid. He was so blind that he was hanging out with a girl that he didnt even know that well, as if they were long-time friends. It pissed him off. But he wouldnt say anything more. He was getting hungry and his stomach had started to growl. He heard Baromosa leave for dinner as well and wanted to rethink his decision, but knew that he shouldnt. They were a team...dispite his anger at the moment. If they had argued and somthing happened, they wouldnt work as well together. He just hoped that they really wouldnt have to fight anyone for awhile. He wasnt in the mood. He didnt want to meet up with Baromosa in the hallway, so he found an alternate route. He moved so he was on the outside of the balconey railing and leaped down so he hung from his hands on the floor of the balconey. They were on the second floor and it wasnt too much further to the ground, so he just dropped and landed on his feet. It was a hard impact, but he was fine. He looked around and a few people were staring at him, but he just smiled as if it was nothing out of the ordinary and they went about thier business without any questions. He breathed a sigh of releif quietly. He hated being asked questions. It reminded him of when he and his mother had come back to Konoha after the war. They were asked questions every five feet they walked it seemed. HE had been nervous the whole time, but his mother knew what to do and he had trusted her judgement. He just was hopful that he would never have to do it again. Jinsoku walked to the door of the Inn and opened it. He walked in and went into a sitting room. He would wait until dinner was ready. He didnt want to look like he was starving, even though he hadnt eated most of the day. But he could wait a little longer for the food he guessed. (Word Count=406 Total count=6129)
Azure Posted October 5, 2007 Author Posted October 5, 2007 "Dinner's ready!" Came the cheery voiced girl as her figure disappeared own the steps after knocking on the doors of the three assigned rooms and then talking to the people waiting outside their doors. When they would enter the dining room, they would see a large table that was rectangular, that could fit six to each side and two to the head. It was the largest table in the room, several small tables were accompanied by guests, but it was the main table that they would sit at tonight. The table itself was quite long, made from a violet crimson soft wood finish. Arranged on the table were various meals for sampling, the format of the dinner was pick and choose. There were two main dishes, spiced and glazed honey raisin chicken over white rice, steamed and cooked, almost shining and two slabs of roasted beef in a berry sauce. One of the beef slabs was rare, while the other was fully cooked. There was no particular table arrangemnts, but there was a neatly crafted napkin in an origami shape awaiting each person as they sat down. Sitting at one head of the table, Namiko waited, her napkin fit neatly on her lap as she watched her guests file in. Dressed in a rather exceptional occasion sort of way, her hair had been added with a straight strand of pumpkin, shining in the light. Her dress was black, though not overly dressy, but more than casual. Side dishes were being brought out, whipped potatoes, sweet and sour bean salads and a large fruit salad. "Good Evening."
