Anima Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 (edited) Anima shook his head and pointed ouut towards the direction the Hyuuga had left in. "I know the girl's capable of handling herself, but just to be sure.." The four clones that stood at Anima's sides shot out to follow Mizu, while the original would continue his search for the resistance nin in the area. "It would have been helpful if the girl told me how many there were.." With a sigh Anima peered over at the boy resting on his shoulder and continued moving. "Once I have everyone secure, I will go after Mizu-baka.." He nodded to assure him self of his simple plan and launched himself up upon the roof tops of the village. As his figure would blast in and out of the raging fires engulfing the village, Anima made sure to track all NCIA officers he passed and there positions. "This may not be as easy as I thought.." Rapidly leaping into what seemed to be an empty house, Anima quickly avoided the NCIA officers who were positioned on the roof top just beyond him. To make sure that he didn't harm the resistance member in his grasp, Anima landed flat on his feet instead of rolling to disperse the force of the jump. "That was to close.." The young Darksol shook his head as he found his way through the small cottage he had landed in. Upon reaching the exit of the building, Anima found that another Kumo patrol was about to enter into the house, and in doing so would uncover his position. Thinking quickly Anima through himself into one of the rooms reaching into the back of the cottage. Anima did so just in time as a small group of NCIA officers entered into the now occupied building. "The damn resistance.." One of the young men in the ajoining room could be heard by Anima as his voice was loud and annoying. Just by hearing his voice, Anima found himself growing agitated and assumed the kid to be a genin or lowly chuunin. If that was so it was most likely that the rest of the officers were lower ranking officers, those who could easily be dispatched of should things get to that point. In actuallity though, Anima could most likely hold his own against a higher ranking officer, utilizing the warping of his bloodline to tear the shinobi to shreds. "If i kill these guys, I am sure that I will be some how be tracked back to the inncident. If not a resistance nin would be blamed.." "I'll have to take them out in a non-lethal fashion..that way I cant be traced back to it." Anima pulled his cloak back to reveal the modifed sound amplifier on his wrist. With a constant stream of chakra, Anima unleashed what would seem like a sound bomb, blowing out the NCIA officers, senses which would allow Anima to flee from the building. Quickly Anima made for the exit, passing up the empire officers who now lay on the ground covering their heads and ears. Upon exiting the building, Anima made his way back up upon the roof tops, keeping sure that what had just happened wouldn't again occur. Anima made his way out into the village once again, this time finding yet another member of the resistance. "Come on now.." Edited November 7, 2007 by Anima
Warr Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 She was tired of waiting, tired of fighting these children who thought themselves to be NCIA shinobi-nin. She was tired of it, and getting steadily more annoyed. And she hated being annoyed, so Meikin had a natural reaction. She hopped atop a roof, and then ran to Mizumono, scooping her into the air and over her shoulder before hopping atop a nearby building. "Anima, come, now! We go!" She commanded, unarguably, and streamed from that place, running, running. Even songbirds are not foolhardy.
Anima Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 (edited) Anima nodded and placed the boy who rested in his grasp in a building that seemed to be free of NCIA officers. "Looks like I'm off then.." He smirked and threw himself into the air, following his jounin instructor out of the small village. Edited November 8, 2007 by Anima
Baromosa Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 (edited) Confused about how to react among the chaos, Baromosa simply stayed with the small group of villagers in an attempt to bled in. 'Thank goodness I didn't wear anything too obvious... but damn it. They probably have better intelligence about my village.' Baro thought in flight, not thinking clearly as his steps became erratic, almost tripping over himself to get him out of the center of town. As soon as Baro spotted a break between two buildings, he left the three other random people he had been traveling near and broke into a panicked run down the alley. His breath became heavy very quickly, but hearing himself Baro closed his mouth and forced himself to breath through his nose. "Damn it, why couldn't we just stay as a group." he complained to the walls around him, and began looking to see if he could spot any place to hide or anyone from his team. "KAORU!" Baromosa called out, hoping that someone would hear. Staying still, blood pumped through his ears hotly making it hard to notice anything but his heart beat and own breathing. "Kitara!" he called out again, but a bit softer. "Jinsoku?" Baro whispered pointlessly, not really caring if Jin was there or not. "I need a better location, anywhere. Shit." he said and started looking before he saw some piled boxes, perfect to get onto a roof of a small shack that they leaned against. Baro scrambled up it, getting on the poorly made thatch work, and climbed on the slightly taller building that had once made the alley for his escape. From the air above, now Baro could try and find his team. Word Count: 277 Total: 9646 Edited November 9, 2007 by Baromosa
Hardcore Skittlez Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 (edited) It happened too fast for poor Mizu to register; One moment, she was running, the next, she was in the arms of some strange woman. I have to get away!, her thoughts blared inside her head as a siren would in the case of a flood. She struggled to get free, only to be pulled closer to the body of the woman. Spin!, the voice of the Senbonzakura echoed through Mizumono's struggling consciousness. "Spin!", her words mirrored the advice of her blade as she pushed away from the woman once more. Chakra erupted from Mizu's many tenketsu as she twisted her body to her right. The area around Mizu then was enveloped in what was her. She broke free and dropped to the ground much, a mouse free from the bird. Her Kaiten shattered a single tree as Mizu made contact with the ground. Now lying in the midst of several broken branches, Mizu could see Kinomi no Toshi in the distance. What a pain..., she thought to herself as she plucked several splinters from her face and arms. The Byukagan and her odd glow faded into nothingness after a short period of observation. Edited November 14, 2007 by Hardcore Skittlez
Cellar Door Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 (edited) Snap... crack... crash... skid From Ryuu's vantage point, many things had happened at once. The only one that occurred with any clarity in his eyes was the fleeting visage of Mizumono as she whizzed by him, and deeper into the forest. He heard each thud and crunch as the Hyuuga Chuunin bounced from tree to tree. His eyes followed the dark hole into the forest. It seemed to go on for quite a ways indeed. Despite the fact that this girl had eliminated a member of his party, and beaten the hell out of him, Ryuu felt the urge to go and see if she was alright. With yellow eyes that saw much less than the average ninja, Ryuu chose his path carefully, making sure not to trip over any roots or rocks. "Mizu? That was a pretty wicked crash... are you okay?" He asked, peering into the darkness. "Say something if you're conscious." Edited November 14, 2007 by Cellar Door
Hardcore Skittlez Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Wincing all the while, Mizu plucked a last splinter from her tender flesh. Rising to meet a torrent of nothingness, the dirtied girl brushed bits of broken wood from her clothes. Swiveling to meet Ryuu's vocalization, Mizu frowned. "I'm fine. What about the others?", her voice was sincere, but were her thoughts? It's about time to leave, Mizu-chan...The NCIA have probably captured the rest. If you get captured, then, all of this was in vain. Is that what you want? The voice was ever-present. Shaking her inner annoyance off for the time being, Mizu forced herself out of her pile of carnage, and onto a beaten path. "Let's stick to this road, but just outside it's edges. If the NCIA come, Run. You'd be no match.", It was time for this little girl to take command.
Ash_x Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Kitara's hands flew to cover her tear-stained face as she heard Kaoru's lifeless corpse tumble to the ground. His final words, a mournful whisper as the twinkle in those forget-me-not eyes slowly drifted away, replaced by the waxy sheen of death. The trembling girl forced herself to gaze upon the gruesome scene. Hatred and satisfaction contrasted with the reality of destroying her childhood companion. Vivid memories of them playing together amongst a sea of buttercups and wildflowers haunted her mind, tearing into her as the boys now, ghostly white orbs bore into her own. The pungent aroma of her victims blood slowly crept into her senses, making her lurch forward, though the attempt at losing her meal was futile, for nothing resided in her empty middle, nothing but a sickly hollowness that felt as though it could never be filled again. Kitara held a sleeve across her nose, desperate to ward off the metallic stence, though as she realised her clothing was soaked in the crimson liquid, an unshakable fear crawled along her spine. "I have to get out of here..." Kitara thought, though the task of moving seemed beyond impossible. Finally, chest knotted so fiercely she could hardly breathe, the girl turned on heel and fled through the undergrowth, each step easier than the last. The effects of the drug Kaoru had slipped into her beverage were gradually wearing off, her vision clearing though still horribly distorted due to her panic and exhaustion. As the girl slowed her pace, melting into the cold, illumining moonlight as she slipped from the forest, she appeared very much like ghost. Blood dripping from every inch of her garments, and ice pale with fright, to any whom may have been watching, Kitara looked the picture of misery. Her long lashes gently fluttered up, revealing lost and dazed sapphire eyes. Footsteps began to echo in the distance, followed by voices that grew familiar as they neared. A sigh of relief slipped Kitara's plush lips as she settled her sight upon Ryuu, accompanied by Mizumono, she never thought she would be glad to see that girl. Walking slowly towards them, she ignored the unappealing fact that her soft features were tainted by tears and her clothing stained with blood. "Are you okay Ryuu-kun, Mizu..?, where are the others?" Kit asked, trying to withhold the anxiousness from her tone, hoping... pleading her remaining comrades were safe. [word count: 400] [total count: 5542]
Hardcore Skittlez Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 (edited) A saddening sigh escaped the lips of Mizu as they hardened into a frown. So, She's tasted violence already. I was hoping I'd be the only one of us, at least until they were more prepared than I was..., she thought to herself. Moving onto the road, she intercepted Kitara, guiding her to a tree-darkened side of the path. "We're fine... Look, unless you're hurt badly, I need you to stay on this side of the road, hidden. Ryuu is on the other side, doing the same. I am sorry it has to be this way...but keep your presence secret.", Mizu's head craned into a bow while she spoke. She placed a firm hand on Kitara's shoulder, lifted her blind-fold, and forced her to to look deep within the confines of Mizu's diamond eyes. A reassuring nod was followed by the replacement of the Hyuuga's blindfold over her ashen orbs, "I'll be back. If the NCIA spot you, run. If they catch you, tell them I'm in the village." With her dual command, Mizu vanished in a flicker of shadows. --- Mizu found herself creeping through an enclave of shadows as she entered the chaotic town once again. In any normal circumstance, she would have used her NCIA equipment to blend into the surrounding crowd of hunters. In these circumstances, the hunters were after her. Sharply inhaling, Mizu sucked herself into the shadow of a building as a group of NCIA hunters passed by. Suppose there's no avoiding it...Ah, Well.., she thought to herself as the rivers of her chakra reservoir flooded into her eyes to activate her kekkei genkai. With a quick tug, her blindfold covered her eyes once more; the gray world of the byukagan had color once again. The chuunin's hands found their way to her abdomen, dancing into a series of complex hand seals the instant they touched. A cold breeze drifted past Mizumono as she finished her seals. "Water Style; Artic Wind... That'll stop them for a bit...Time to get back.", she moved to leave the village as she finished speaking. --- After a rather uneventful travel back, Mizu found herself sitting beside Kitara once again. "I didn't see anyone else...They must have gotten away. The NCIA are still searching for me, so, Let's get out of here while they search." (last 2 parts were rather crappy, sorry. Ash_x Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Kitara nodded softly as Mizu instructed her to remain hidden, gently brushing the damp from under her eyes before putting away her kunai, still dripping with fresh blood. The same eyes that had previously made her cringe uncomfortably, were now gentle and soothing, helping her to push aside the fear and shock battling within like a pack of starving animals. As the hyuuga outcast melted into the blackened scenery, Kitara glanced up and settled her vision on Ryuu, slowly crossing the path between them and crouching beside her team mate, not wanting to be alone, even for the short time Mizu was away. "Do you really think they got away..." The girl whispered, barely audible though not impossible to hear as she grasped a tuff of clovers in front of her, forcing herself to get up, despite wishing to curl into the ground. "Mizu... where can we go?" She asked, trying to keep her tone calm though a painfully obvious streak of hopelessness seemed to envelope her words. "...What's Baro and Jinsoku going to say... they'll never believe me" Kitara wept inside her mind, wondering how she could explain to the duo, why she had murdered their comrade. Cellar Door Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 (edited) From not too far off Ryuu could hear the soft whispering of two feminine voices. The voices soon dyed away, and left him again in a cloud of darkness. Thankfully, the outline of a human soon came into view. Kitara's voice was soothing, a bastion of stability in chaos. "I can't say for sure, but I hope we get a good by the end of all this." He replied, eager for something to happen. There wasn't time for Kit to reply before Mizumono returned. She instructed Kitara and Ryuu to escape with her and avoid fighting the NCIA at the moment. Ryuu wouldn't have minded a fight to be honest. He was way past ready for action. He wanted more. Despite his urges for conflict, Ryuu remained hidden and quiet as Mizumono instructed. Edited November 18, 2007 by Cellar Door
acillies45 Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Jinsoku's head was pounding. He had just become concious but hadnt opened his eyes yet. He didnt know where he was and wanted to make sure that he wasnt still being carried around. He hadnt been awake but he could tell that he had been carried awhile. His head had stopped hurting as much as when he was being carried, so he knew he had been set down. Now just to figure out where. He tryed to stand, but he had been tied down. This made his eyes snap open. He saw that his hands were bound to a heavy and strong fence post. He struggled a little with the bonds, but they were strong as well. He just sat back. He needed to rest his head. It had become worse from his struggling. "...I wonder where that chunnin is..." He thought, looking around. He couldnt see him, but he knew that he was around there. He wouldnt be stupid enough to leave a prisoner alone. (Word Count=166 Total Count=9343)
Azure Posted November 15, 2007 Author Posted November 15, 2007 It hadn't taken long until a stray NCIA soldier ran across the tiny rooftops of the berry town; yearning to find the glory for himself, in order to have the mission's operation go through very smoothly. As it just so happened, his blur passed to the sight of the three shinobi in hiding. He wasn't so daft, instead calling a whistle before grasping a kunai in grip and aiming the finely sharpened knife at the Hyuuga. -- Jinsoku had been bound and now stood affixed on to a wooden post, like a prisoner. Luckily for him, it wasn't as deserted as it seemed. In just a few moments a flash would come by, the after image of Soujiro laid in its wake, his hands forming handseals and the post he was bound to was set aflame, the cerulean fire turned the wood to ash effortlessly. His bonds had been cut with something razor sharp, but his eyes were not able to follow such movements. But what he would also be able to see was another image, of an NCIA commander, in battle with Soujiro, but the truth is both of them were gone. The last words Jinsoku would hear before the image completely disappeared, drifted on the wind. "Find the others, unite." -- Baromosa had successfully climbed to the top of a large thatched building in Kinomi no Toshi, but as any strategist would tell you; the high ground is the optimal place for fighting and scouting, but also for being scouted. There was only one shinobi that joined him on the top of the building, his speed was quick and there was only one smart action that should come to find; strength in numbers, safety with teammates.
acillies45 Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Jinsoku had been sitting around and wondered where that chunnin had gone to. He was probably waiting for Jinsoku to escape so he could an excuse...he wouldnt give him that pleasure. He would sit and wait for him. However, he was getting bored, and the prospect of fighting dug into him like a knife. His blood had been raised and he wanted out of these bonds. He was surprised that the chunnin hadnt killed him, but if the man let him loose, he would regret not killing him right away. Jinsoku thought of this for awhile till suddenly the fence behind him set fire. He leapt up and grabbed a kuni, ready to cut his bonds, when he realised they had been already been cut. He looked around and only saw a blur in the distance. The words hit him right away; "Find the others, unite." He recognized the voice. "Yes Sensei..." He said quietly, grabbed a kuni and immediatly lept off in the direction of the forest. He didnt know if the city would be a good place to go right now. Hopfully his team would think the same thing. He climbed up a tree and started to leap around the city on the trees. He saw that the fighting was going on, whoever was still fighting was doing a hell of a good job. There was a noise that woke him up right away. A twig had snapped. He looked around, but couldnt see much. He spotted somthing though. It was flesh colored. His eyes narrowed. It was a ninja. He was hiding in the bushes. He pulled up his shirt, covering the lower half of his face and he tightened his headband. He was ready for a fight. He landed in a tree near the ninja, but for a moment, he couldnt tell who he was, but he could tell that they were armed. He didnt want to kill them right away, it could be a friend, but he didnt want to take chances. He lept up and down behind the ninja, a kuni around the ninja's neck "Dont move!" He said in the ear of the nin "..If you want to live." (Note: The Ninja he just 'attacked' was Ryuu. He didnt know him and he didnt recogize him so this isnt meant to be hostile, hes just making a dumbass mistake) (Word Count=366 Total Count=9709)
Baromosa Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Finding himself under observation by a figure that was too quick to be just a normal civilian, Baromosa ditched his idea of scouting for the others by roof top and thought of his first reaction: 'Run, Hide, Pray.' His panic didn't control him though, he was only startled into shock and this prompted him to throw himself into a roll, scrapping across the roof back onto the shed where he leaped off onto the ground, hoping it would be enough to escape the pursuer. He didn't even think of what his opponent wanted, what his motives were, Baro didn't allow this to come through his mind, he only let his concentration become instinctual and aide him in his reflexes. The rough edges of the buildings he could feel tear at his clothes, and the exhilaration of feeling himself in the air from his own force gave him a short of jump start from his sluggishness. 'I got to find the others, Kaoru and Kitara.' Baro thought, thinking of everyones face in his mind. Words: 153 Total: 9799
Cellar Door Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 This certainly was a new development. The first time the sharp edge of a blade touched Ryuu's neck didn't scare him as much as he'd thought it would. The voice that accompanied the blade didn't sound much like a battle hard NCIA ninja. Ryuu couldn't see what he assumed was a young man, but the quiver in his voice as he spoke told him that he'd never killed anyone. "Easy now," Ryuu heard his voice take on a tone that it never had before. "I don't think you really want to do this. You could be putting your life on the line in the name of your NCIA... do you really want that? Also, you should stop breathing on my neck." It was a bluff, and not a very good one. He hoped it would be enough to dissuade this young assailant to put down his arms. Whatever Kitara and Mizu were doing at this point was anyone's guess, but it was obvious that they care about the attacker behind him. "What wonderful teammates I have. Always looking out for the kid who can't see in the dark." He thought to himself, wishing Kitara would come out of nowhere and clobber this guy. Unfortunately his wishes were premature and after a few tentative seconds, the upstart was still behind him, and still breathing on his neck. The young ninja swallowed hard, feeling the big goobery thing in his throat rub against the sharp edge of the knife. "I really wish you'd put that away... before something bad happens to you."
Ash_x Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Kitara stayed amongst the shadows as she waited for Mizu's decision, placing her trust in the hyuuga outcast, both content yet weary of her acceptance. A soft moan echoed about the woodland scenery as yet another gentle breeze twisted it way between the coarse brambles, tearing leaves from their rightful place upon the tawny branches and casting an oily green snowfall upon the girl. Dark, turquoise eyes slowly glanced up as a disturbance in the nearby thicket snared her attention, narrowing coldly as she stepped towards the boy threatening her team mate. "Foolish child, learn your friends from your foes" Kitara hissed, her midnight tresses flaring gracefully behind her in a long, pitch stream. Soft beams of moonlight settled upon the young woman's form as she swiftly raised her elbow and struck the side of Jinsoku's head with a sharp, precise blow, knocking him into the ground and catching his falling kunai as it left his grasp. A coldness seemed to fall across the girls delicate features, like an icy glitter dancing in those twin, sapphire orbs before she tossed the projectile into the dirt beside him. Turning on heel, with her back to the slumped male Kitara knelt down and studied the flesh of Ryuu's throat. "Are you alright?" she whispered, keeping her tone hushed as she helped him to his feet. acillies45 Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Jinsoku was about to ask the boy his name and who he was with, when somthing hit him hard on the side of the head. He flew a few feet and landed hard, hitting his head again. He blacked out for a moment, and thought he had gone blind, but he shook his head and realized he was ok. His sight came back and he had to struggle to sit up, but he was ok. He rubbed the side of his head a little and stood up. He drew a kuni quickly before looking over to the person who had attacked him. He recognized her from eariler that morning and from at the festival. His eyes widened a little. "You..." He said and he finnally saw Ryuu's face He took his shirt and moved it from his mouth. He put the kuni away and kneeled down. "Im sorry...I didnt see your face.." He said quietly. He didnt know these people beyond thier faces, but he knew that they werent enemies. He looked up at the girl. He remembered seeing her with Kauro. "You...you were with Kauro right? Where is he?" He said. "I need to find him and Baromosa. Our Sensei is in the city and fighting, we need to help." He said hurridly. (Word Count=214 Total Count=9923)
Ash_x Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Those words cut through her like a blunt knife, despite preparing herself prior, knowing they would eventually wriggle from the boys lips. Kitara stiffened, her touch against Ryuu's throat becoming cold as she drew her fingers away, turning around to face the kneeling speaker. Sapphire eyes narrowed softly, her plush lips quivering as the girl devised in her mind the gentlest way to explain Kaoru's death to his team mate. The deceased shinobi's blood still soaked her teal garments, leaving only tiny patches of the once blue material unstained. "Of course he can't see..." Kit reminded herself, almost thankful for the black coverage hiding her crimson drenched figure. What many would have mistaken for her own life fluid trickled onto the grass from her finger tips, a few droplets hitting Jinsoku's arms. "I'm afraid Kaoru wont be joining us again" She whispered slowly, keeping their gazes seperate until she placed a delicate hand on the boys shoulder. "I'm sorry". Hardcore Skittlez Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 The trademark bulging veins of the byukagan continued to pump blood to Mizu's eyes, allowing her to see all that was around herself. Casting a light glance over her shoulder at the child stupid enough to attack his own, she shook her head disapprovingly. "Alright, kid. From here on, you listen to me. The Jounin leading you before, I am assuming, is still in the town fighting off the NCIA. I am a chuunin of the Konohagakure Resistance, and am previously NCIA as you have heard...", she paused to allow the newcomer to take it in, " I'm fairly sure I know how they will come for me, and I know they can outrun all of us, so, we'd best fortify a position, and try to hide." She ended her miniature speech by snapping her head about, pretending that she was looking for something. Even with the movements of her head, the sight granted by her Byukagan shifted only the slightest. To the southeast, about thirty meters, Mizumono noted a fallen tree with several smaller trees growing around it. She crossed the horizontal of her lips with an erected finger, to signal silence, then waved her hand for the group to follow her. Quietly, though quickly, she made her way through the little shrubbery there was until the point of the fallen tree. Around the tree was little, save three saplings about the height of Mizu. What to do..., her mind was set into motion as to what strategies she could form with what little time and supplies she had. Suddenly, her face lit up. "I'm not much of a strategist, but, transform yourselves into things like these trees, but spread about two meters from each other. I'll be sitting on the log, and when they try to take me, we can ambush them."
acillies45 Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Jinsoku felt some blood drip on him. He wondered how this girl was injured. He was about to ask before she said that Kauro wasnt going to be joining them. He shut his mouth and nodded. In his eyes showed sadness. They also showed fear...Kauro was a stronger ninja then Jinsoku. If he could be killed, then Jinsoku didnt stand a chance. He looked up into the eyes of the girl. He was about to ask how he died, when he was interupted by another girl. He looked around and could barley make out her shape. She started to talk as if she was in charge in Soujiro's place. Jinsoku's natural cockiness kicked in. "Sorry, I dont listen to stranger. Besides, the NCIA is fighting Soujiro Sensei alone. Im not going to sit around and let him be killed." He said. The foolishness he had was known to him, but he ignored it. "So, you all can sit here and hide, Im going to help my sensei." He stood up and put his kuni away. He grabbed his Kuni back from the girl and pulled up his mask, getting ready to leave. (Word Count=192 Total Count=10115)
Hardcore Skittlez Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 (edited) As the weakling of a shinobi spoke words of valiance, Mizumono allowed the real solution to click into her thought processes. She sighed and shifted her focus to the red-blue panorama that was the sky. She extended her right hand and seized the genin by the chest of his shirt. With strength untrue to the size of her frame, the rogue Hyuuga pulled Jinsoku's face within inches of her own. Her breath beat steadily on his cheeks as she began to speak, "You're right. We shouldn't sit here and hide...I was entertaining a futile thought of us fighting back. We're going to run - Your teacher's resistance will not be in vain. If we stick around to fight here, we will die.", her last statement was drenched with venom. She released the hot-headed boy with a push that would have made a grown man stumble. "Hear that, everyone? We're running. If you'd like to disagree, let me know, And I'll drag your unconscious body with me. I have no desire to see any more of your team dead at my feet.", the voice of Mizu was sincere, albeit harsh. Mizumono bent her knees into a half crouch before springing into a nearby tree. She faced away from her team, but spoke anyways, "I can see all around us. I will know if you are not following. Rest assured, I can outrun and overpower all of you.", her intensity remained. Another leap brought her into a tree ahead of the previous. Edited November 21, 2007 by Hardcore Skittlez

He stood up quicky as not to look foolish. The girl went up into a tree and started talking again as if he was going to listen. When she was done with her little speech, he looked up at her, the difiant look still in his eye. "Soujiro Sensei isnt the only one who Im worried about. Baromosa is still out there in the city. Ive already lost a teammate tonight, im not going to lose another." Baromosa wasnt his favorite person in his world, but he was his teammate. He wasnt going to let him get killed or captured. "Besides, I was attacked before I got here. Their trying to catch us, not to kill us. Meaning, we have the advantage, we're not trying to capture anyone. You can run all you like, Im going back for my teammate. Im not asking you to go with me, but Im asking you not to stop me." He started to walk to the village. Shnobi after all were trained for tracking, locating and eliminating. It was true, they were found, a group of eight, of all rankings surrounded them; sound had erupted from the forest around as the shinobi converged seemingly for only Mizumono, but it was obvious all of them were encircled, meaing all were on death;s row in the eyes of Kumogakure. "Mizumono, you aren't out of the forest, yet. All of you will fall." Announced one, as he fell in to attacking formation, as they all did.
