Welcome one and all to the Ninja Academy campfire, where for this spooky season we’re calling on you to spread the darkest, most sinister, twisted tales of ninja nightmares you can manage. The world of Ninja Academy is a wide one, filled with depth from the stories your characters have lived, but now it’s time to explore the stories they might tell one another around a fading fire on a haunted Halloween night.   So what do we ask of you? That’s simple, we want the submission of Ninja Academy ghost stories, cryptids and whatever else frightening jumps to mind. These should be in universe stories, but need not rely on existing cannon to tell them, for at the conclusion of the event the staff will judge the entries and add the best to the world of Ninja Academy forever.    Your Entry: Your entry needs to be a short scary story from 500 - 1,500 words. You may submit one story for each of your characters, just note which character the story is submitted for. Rewards will be given to every character a story was submitted for, though they do not need to be written in that character’s perspective, assigning a character is just for reward purposes. Also remember that while Ninja Academy does allow for mature themes, common sense should apply to what is appropriate to base a story around.    Your Rewards: When submitting your short story, alongside your character assignment please also choose one of the following buckets to pick from for your reward: Gravedigger's Sack, Witch's Cauldron, Haunted Scroll Case, or the Jack-o-Lantern. Once approved, you will be able to roll on the chosen loot table: Gravedigger's Sack   Witch's Cauldron   Haunted Scroll Case   Jack-o-Lantern   * - These items are unique to this event, see their descriptions for what they do. ** - These items are Halloween classics, see their descriptions below.   Milk Chocolate Shuriken A four pronged piece of chocolate shaped to look like a Shuriken. A classic treat for children dressed as ninjas. Effect: Gain 1 JP when this candy is eaten. Value: $25   Pumpkin Juice A small wax bottle containing a sweet orange liquid. Even the small amount in the bottle packs a punch of flavor including cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and just a little hint of something spicy. Effect: This candy may be eaten when your character receives experience. When you eat this candy, you gain +100 EXP. Only one "Pumpkin Juice" may be eaten per thread. Value: $50   Black Licorice Bats Only psychopaths like this candy. The unforgettable flavor of the licorice root in the shape of a hairy bat, complete with little strands that get caught in your teeth. Makes a squeaking sound when you eat it. Effect: When this candy is eaten, you may increase the word-count of the post that this candy was consumed in by +200 Words. Eating multiple 'Black Licorice Bats' may stack this effect to a maximum of +400 words. Its been a hot minute, but I am back in announcements to let everyone know that NA, adapting with the times, now has a new official AI policy for out game. As anyone given 2 seconds of time to think about it will realize, AI being able to write a lot of things based on a prompt is somewhat undermining to the integrity of our creative experience here. As such, we have made an official set of rules to lay down the law on what you can and cannot do with AI when it comes to NA, alongside the punishments for skirting the rules. Devicing a plan before going in for a fight is usual approach.If something hurts him badly like killing someone just because it is fun beware for this character will enjoy the same fun but with you.   -Relationships- Considers everyone rival,teacher,friends.he is an orphan so no parents.Considers no one enemy but if he did considered someone enemy that means he is going to hack him down if he could. -History- The character is a great fan of Jiraiya and have read all of his novels.He is at this stage of this life because of the Teachings of Jiraiya,how he fought his own student ruthlessly when he needed to for what he loved.   Spent most of his life till now playing,helping out villagers,Practising Techniques and the best part flirting with girls but never touched them due to policy of respect for women except of 3 times when he killed 3 kunoichi from behind at one point when they were running out of village with some important scroll.After that mission,he was considered to be made a Gennin and Graduates from the academy.his sensei and squad is yet to determine which will be given by Academy.

Hello Ninja Academy!    It is our pleasure to announce the next round of promotions to our approval staff team!   After several years of being an active, helpful, and friendly member of our community, Tw33dle offered to step up and take on duties as a Game Artificer!   And KnightOfBreath is in a similar boat - he has spent several years here, and has been very pleasant and easy to work and play with, and has agreed to take on duties as an Artificer!   Both have shown much growth on the mechanical side of things since they first joined our game, and we are looking forward to their help in the creation forum!
