Kay Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 (edited) Seitsuno Item Slots Taken: 1 Effect: Reduces the chakra needed to use medical jutsu to almost nothing in exchange for the Character's health in a 5:1 exchange- for every 5 chakra required, the character will lose 1 health instead. Special: Unique Description: An amber stone set into a bronze background, both cut into the shape of a wolf howling at the moon in stunning detail. A gold rune is imbedded into the polished face of the stone, and the entire pendant has several other gold highlights on the details. The pendant is the only thing left to Kaysu by her mother, and Kaysu never takes it off. The pendant is said to have magical properties that enable it to stretch the energy of a healer- at the cost of the healer's own body and life- far beyond what it is normally capable of. Kaysu's father once told a story of how the pendant enabled her mother's chakra to stretch after a major battle. The other healers in the village where the wounded had been taken had exhausted their own chakra hours before and the pendant around Kaysu's mother's neck had begun to glow yellow. She was able to save a good deal more of the wounded than would have been otherwise possible, and only when the other healers could return to work did Kaysu's mother's energy run out...making her collapse into bed and sleep for almost forty-eight hours straight before waking up and being forced to eat and drink to regain her strength. The pendant had literally eaten into the woman's body to stretch her healing. Her clothes had grown several sizes too large and as a healer, Kaysu's mother hadn't cared...giving her life for the people she was healing. This property first showed itself only rarely while in Kaysu's care during the war, and only under the most desperate circumstances. Since the war, however, Kaysu has been working with the pendant and has learned how to manipulate its effects at will when needed. Cost: $400 Edited August 28, 2009 by Kay
wolfnin Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 uhhh..whats the effect of this thing. Everything seems more like a description to me. Also this pendant needs a cost as well.
Warr Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 uhhh..whats the effect of this thing. Everything seems more like a description to me. Also this pendant needs a cost as well. Sometimes the effect and description are intertwined, especially in most people's RPing styles. I'd like to suggest adding a bit of history into it.
Terrick Sukrai Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 What's the cost, and how can I get my hands on it?
Kay Posted November 19, 2006 Author Posted November 19, 2006 ...o.o' >>; Um...I don't suppose it's impossible that there'd be others. >>' I'ma have to think on the cost.
Warr Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Poke because I want it Terrick, this is counted as spamming I think, and I'm helping her figure out the items cost and such in spare time. However, she needs to inquire with moderators if something of this sort could exist in more than one case. When she originally designed it, it was more of an artifact passed down her mother's line. I'll poke her when she gets back from class. I'm off to look up prices to suggest for this.~ (Post will be edited with said price suggestions when done.)
Terrick Sukrai Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 My apologies. It's just that because it had been so long since anyone had looked at it, I thought it had been forgotten. My bad...
DragonOfAnger Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 So basically, this makes it so you can heal 5 health of another for ever one health of your own you spend? Hmmm Well, since i assume you can not use it on yourself, Imagine two people with these, healthing each other, and regaining their own health.... Infinate health chain... On a differant note, you are basically switching up the ratio for med jutsu form (from a genin perspecitve) 1:1 to 1:5. Jounin ratio happens be 2:3. If you took a step up, assuming it to be Sennin it might go to 1:2.. So this Pendant would make it so that your cost:effect ratio at genin could be better than a Sennin?!
Warr Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 No. The pendent takes 5 of the users own health for every bit of extra chakra it gives. You misread it, I believe. It heals however much the jutsu used by the medi-nin with the pendent heals, if it's a healing jutsu or whatever.

Warr Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Then she wrote the item incorrectly from what she was planning. I'll be talking to her about fixing that too.
cntrstrk14 Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Because I like this idea, and you seem nice I will do this for you. This will make it so it is the only one in existance.
