Seven Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 What does that text under the banner and on navigation images say? Quote
Hayake Musume Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I did a great job teaching you CSS, did I not? Quote
dowhatnow Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Questions: Would the new training rules still apply if no experience was awarded while training when the old system was in place? While I find the expansion of Medical Jutsu and the classes of ninja that it spawns an awesome idea, I have to wonder: Just how many Field Surgeons/Physicians do we expect to have? Couldn't you also have the status effect "Bound" apply to the leg or legs of a character while conversely having the status effect "Shackled" apply to one's arm or arms? Did you guys miss these parts while you were editing? -You start with no ranks in bloodline. You can gain more ranks of the bloodline in the same matter you always would. Q: Q: Can I write for the Shinobi Times?A: Yes you may, but first you must submit your contribution to a moderate who will post it in a separate topic. Yeah, that's all I got for now. Quote
explodedsoda Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I didn't edit the FAQ page. And for only having one mistake so far, I think my edit job was pretty good, considering how much I fixed. Quote
cntrstrk14 Posted March 10, 2008 Author Posted March 10, 2008 Would the new training rules still apply if no experience was awarded while training when the old system was in place? Everything from now on is considered under these rules. While I find the expansion of Medical Jutsu and the classes of ninja that it spawns an awesome idea, I have to wonder: Just how many Field Surgeons/Physicians do we expect to have? As many as we have medical ninja now. Couldn't you also have the status effect "Bound" apply to the leg or legs of a character while conversely having the status effect "Shackled" apply to one's arm or arms? No, the are simply different phrasings of the same type of effect. If rope is tied around your legs you are shackled, if it is around your arms you are bound. Quote
Taiki Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 With the changes to the Path skills, do we go back and re-calculate the bonuses that are now in effect as if they were always as they are, or do we stick with what we previously gained, and go from here on out with the skill changes? (Ex. Path of the Warrior used to be 1 extra JP per 5 levels, it's now 1 every other.) Quote
cntrstrk14 Posted March 10, 2008 Author Posted March 10, 2008 For path changes, you need to recalculate your bonuses from before and redo them. If you obtained bonuses from skills that you obtained through the path (Example: Scholar -> Merchant -> Item) you do not need to refund the items, you may keep them at the same price. Please make a NOTE of it within your logs though, so that later on down the road the staff does not think you just got half price items for nothing. Quote
TaronsNachos Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 This probably isn't that big of a problem, but every time you click on a link in the Navigation it opens up a new tab... Anyone else experiencing this? Or it might just be that I'm running it in IE... Quote
cntrstrk14 Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 Its because IE was coded by a bunch of inbred monkeys chained to cubicles. That won't be fixable, download firefox Quote
dowhatnow Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Its because IE was coded by a bunch of inbred monkeys chained to cubicles. That won't be fixable, download firefox QFT. IE opens new tabs by default and to my knowledge is unchangeable. Firefox is superior. Quote
dowhatnow Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Excuse the double post, but this one actually contains a question, not a statement of the obvious. How are weapon and armor "destructibilities" determined? Is there some sort of table somewhere that I missed that conveys D&D-like statistics on when a weapon or piece of armor is rendered useless or broken? Quote
Baromosa Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Would a shinobi who previously took medical skills (Initiate medic) have to exchange the old skills and jutsu for the new ones? And if not required, are we still able to? Quote
Eechi-go Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Excuse the double post, but this one actually contains a question, not a statement of the obvious. How are weapon and armor "destructibilities" determined? Is there some sort of table somewhere that I missed that conveys D&D-like statistics on when a weapon or piece of armor is rendered useless or broken? We applied the new system for indestructible to avoid people with 'indestructible' armor claiming that jutsu that pierce or hack off limbs could not be preformed because their armor is, well, indestructible. With that in mind, if you are stuck by something of the sort, you need to only make a small post to fix the gear in question. Quote
cntrstrk14 Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 @ RK: The only things that destroy weapons and armor are techniques that specifically state that they do. @ Bara: No, those skills are gone and you have to learn the new ones. You get refunded for the skills we removed and you can use those points towards the new skills if you want to, or use them elsewhere. Quote
dowhatnow Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 [Training Question] Does the .5 EXP/line stack for each person of your rank that you train with or is that the fixed amount for all of the partners, regardless of how many there are? Quote
cntrstrk14 Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 It stacks up to a maximum of 4 EXP per line. That may change in the near future though, but for now that is how it works. Quote
