Warr Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 (edited) Uwagi No Ebisu (Coat of Ebisu) Body Placement: Chest Attributes: -Underlay - Elemental Resistance, Defense, & Shield (Water) - Anti-Freeze - Indestructible - Hidden - Chakra Resistance, Defense, & Shield - Anti-Shock - Anti-Burn - Elemental Resistance, Defense, & Shield (Wind) - +60 Defense, Resistance, & Concentration - +60 Taijutsu, & Ninjutsu - +60 Accuracy & Evasion - +200 Speed Special: Lucky Fisherman- This Coat has been dubbed "Coat of the Fisherman God" because the original user of this coat was so impossibly lucky with fishing that it seemed that he was a god of that maritime art. When working in the maritime art of fishing (As described with the Maritime profession Skill) the user gains a modifier of 1.5 Ryo gained per X, where X is the amount they would normally gain. (400$) Luck of the Gods- This Coat has the luck of the gods, and because of this, the user may reroll a die, within a battle which involves their own particular combat, be it for dodge roll or a different roll. This ability can only be used once per battle, and can be used outside of battle in circumstances where luck would factor in. ($800) Description: This coat is large enough for a man of six feet of height to fully still be around four fifths covered while wearing it, its color is a light blue, and it is designed with darker swirling tidal waves in places, and in a style very similar to the coats worn by every kage, at least traditionally. Many pockets are within its inside it. This coat has a long history, and was formerly owned by Umikoi Warrusu za Yon, head of the Umikoi Clan previous to the invasion of Kirigakure & Mizu no Kuni by the forces of Kumogakure no Sato. This coat was worn on every mission ever partook by the revered former Umikoi Clan head, and was not only well made, with its steel silk fabric, tight stitching, and comfortable yet strong padding, but considered lucky by Umikoi Warrusu za Yon, as every time he went on a fishing expedition wearing it, he would come home hours later with almost an overload of fish, and because he never failed a mission when wearing it. Possibly as a sign that it is indeed lucky, the night of the invasion, Umikoi Warrusu za Yon left the coat, along with a will dictating that it be given to his dearest grandson Umikoi Warrusu za Shichi when he proved himself a true shinobi-nin of the clan of the caliber his grandfather knew he could be. We all know Umikoi Warrusu za Yon died that night, and surely this is the reason. Cost: $5675 Edited November 27, 2007 by Warr
Atlas Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Suggested Cost for Lucky Fisherman: $100, just because a 1.5x increase is pretty significant. Suggested Cost for Luck of the Gods: $300, very very powerful. In my opinion that is actually pretty generous.
Eechi-go Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 How exactly would such a large jacket be able to be 'hidden' under armor?
Warr Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 It's hidden in that it does not seem like armor, instead a piece of clothing. *Facepalms Eechi*
Eechi-go Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 By the description of the attribute, it says underneath armor. However, if it can be used like this, then there isn't a problem with that
Warr Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 This is worn under armor, but does not seem like armor itself, which makes it Hidden. D:
Eechi-go Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I understood once you explained it. Now, another question, anti-shock, burn, and freeze. What exactly does that do? I would assume you can't be effected by burn or things like numb or whatnot, however, a little clarification to myself personally would be appreciated.
Warr Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 It's on the main site, as well as costs.
Eechi-go Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Ah yes, that slipped my mind. Carry on then.
Cho Hakkai Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 for the luck of gods thing, do you have to take the second roll or do you take the better of the two? If it be the second one, then this won't be accepted.
Warr Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 I think the wording pretty easily states the truth, it's a reroll, not a reroll and a picking.
