Super-sheath?

Name: The Nameless Sheath

Body Placement: Back/Waist

Attributes: Indestructible, Hidden (except to those possessing the skill "Starheart)

Effect:

Devourer's Maw: In all the wide cosmos, the infinite space between worlds, there is one thing which of all is by far the most voracious - and this in a place of vast furnaces continually burning themselves to death in their hunger. These objects, perhaps the greatest devourers in all Creation, are known not by names but by a description of what they are: black holes. Continually they draw all within their reach toward them, and continually they consume, growing ever greater with their ravenous devouring of all that surrounds. This sheath was made to emulate this eternal hunger, in order to balance the great power of the sword it was meant to hold. This sheath devours light and heat, and thus is also cool to the touch - and, for most, nearly impossible to see, as the brain attempts to fill in what seems to be a blind spot in the vision of the beholder.

-The Nameless Blade can be contained in this sheath without taking up any item slots. Further, while in this sheath, The Nameless Blade is considered Hidden, except to those possessing the skill "Starheart". The Nameless Blade can only be removed from this sheath by one possessing the skill "Starheart".

Description:

The sheath for The Nameless Blade is, rather appropriately, also nameless. However, it, like the sword it was made to be the other half of, has many titles: The Sheath of Enveloping Night, The Sheath of Uttermost Darkness, and Devourer's Maw, et alia. It is utterly black – not merely dark-colored, as are most things, but literally absorbing all light that falls upon it. When the sword is placed inside it, the blade's radiance dims to complete darkness, so that no light is emitted and the starsteel is dark as ebony, instead of shining with its usual bright light. The diamond, furthermore, assumes the hue of obsidian as long as the sword is sheathed, and the leather turns black as sin itself.

"This effect cannot be prevented or reversed by any means."

Do not like? Also you lose the levels after the battle right, hope that is stated.

What happens if that effect meets an effect that says,

"This weapon cannot be altered under any means" or "This weapon cannot be targeted by special effects" ala Sako's Masamune/Murasame?

Which one gets Priority?

Those effects sound familiar, though, so I'm sure I've seen them before.

Also, does a weapon have to be equipped, or simply carried by the opponent to be affected by the level drain?

Oh, and I'm debating if such an effect should have a limit, such as a certain number of days these levels remain on the weapon, or even a maximum amount that can be drained in a single battle.

Okay, then -

The weapon attributes which belongs to the higher-level of the two weapons takes precedence.

Any weapon can be affected by this attribute.

On that note now that I read over it, Ex's creationw as unique, so to make something with the same effect seems to take out his creation. Do you have his permission to use that effect?

EDIT: As for another note, I had a problem with Ex's weapon that I posted in his thread. If this happens when it is sheathed, then won't it just absorb weapon levels outside of battle as well?

Is there a limit to this or can you walk around and stand near everyone who has a weapon in the game until you have combined every level or weapon ever paid for into your weapon? Does it last outside of battle? Etc.

I believe Ex had an understanding that this only lasted while in battle, and the effects were reversed afterwards.

...Is it?

*checks*

Hey, it is.

No, I don't.

This was intended to be the other way around: It only works when sheathed, not when drawn, and only in battle.

Alas. I suppose I'll come up with a different attribute to give it.

But some other time. For now, I suppose I'll let this die.

Redone. I'd hazard a guess of about $100?

Edited. Looking at more like $200 now, right?

Edited again. Any comments, prices, approvals, etc?
